I want to start by talking about energy. Everything including you and me has and is made of energy, and is emitting energy constantly. But this energy vibrates at different frequencies and so as no doubt you already know many people use crystals for their energy to cleanse themselves and their homes of negative or unwanted energy that can cause harm. Some even use crystals to manifest their desires. Each crystal however big or small emits it’s own vibrational energy.

Using crystals dates back thousands of years with many different cultures using crystals for healing traumas and diseases as clearing unwanted emotions and feelings. Some cultures believed that certain stones would protect them and bring them luck. Like Aquamarine for example. Said to have come from a mermaids treasure chest. Sailers would carry it with them to protect them on voyages.

You can use crystals for many ailments and manifestations by wearing them or keeping them close to your person. They can help calm and centre you or energise you. But you can also use various crystals to clear negative energy in each room of your home. Helping to maintain an optimum living space. That’s what we are going to look at today. Once you have picked your crystals I always recommend cleansing them of the energy they have already stored from the previous places they have been and people that have picked them up. From here you can then choose a place in each room for them. I like having them on display as they are not only pretty but also remind you of the brilliant work that they are doing.

Below I will show you are selection of types that you may want to use in your home.

•Church: Needs nothing more than to be placed somewhere to be seen and admired.

•Geode: Just as beautiful on its own or with others. Try it in a Terrarium.

•Tumblestones: Will look lovely if you have a few of the same and stack them or place them in a shallow bowl.

Start with these first and then continue to build your collection.

•Citrine: For the Office. This crystal brings growth, financial success and abundance. Which makes it perfect for your work space.

•Clear Quartz: For your living area. Known as the Master Crystal. It brings positivity and clarity.

•Rose Quartz: in the master bedroom. To bring love and tenderness to the room.

•Celestine: For Children’s rooms. It is calming, soothing and brings a protective white light.

•Amethyst: Creates and relaxing and rejuvenating space. Making it perfect for the bathroom. The bathroom is a place to cleanse and be reborn.

•Green Aventurine: For the garden. It draws earthly energy up into the roots of plants. Helping them prosper. Pop into pots or bury just under the soil. You could also add some clear quartz to amplify the energy.
