From my own experience, it is easier for me to swallow 2 liters of Coca-Cola than 2 liters of water, due to the sugar and flavor. However, my body would hate me if I did this.

Coffee and milk come with sugar and all sorts of additives that people offer to make their drink more flavorful.

It has also been found that drinking water before a meal decreases the likelihood that you will overeat, because you will feel fuller. There have been several studies, especially on overweight people and it has been found that water really contributes to the consumption of fewer calories, which over time leads to more pounds lost.
