How to earn a monthly income on Vocal Media

Earning an income from your writing has never been more exciting than it is right now, and here's why: your potential is unlimited.

I've been writing for Vocal for 5+ years...

What I've learned is, there's more ways than you think to tap into earning that coin you deserve. I'm going to break down the various ways to create an income via Vocal Media, and I highly recommend you utilize all of them for a greater chance at reaching your individual income goals!

EARNINGS PER READ

First, make sure to have an active Vocal Plus account, this will just double your read earnings right off the bat.

Don't have a Vocal Plus account? After reading the post, scroll back up and use this link it will allow you to upgrade your account!

You want to be at that $6/1000 reads level to make your money back and earn more! It's more than worth it. You'll be able to see the dollars climb a lot quicker and that will motivate you to keep producing high quality content.

SPREAD THE WORD

Personally, I use pinterest to share my posts and - you guys - pinterest is so much easier to grow on than IG or TikTok. It's wild. Share your posts via pins, and you'll see your stats climb tremendously.

Okay TikTok is also great advertising, pop your link to your Vocal profile in your bio and away you go! Share videos with valuable or interesting information and use a call to action for your audience to click the link in your bio. People who dig your content will go to your profile to find out more about you and hopefully click to read your blog posts!

As you can see, there's a lot of support available!

If you're looking to start earning more with your writing, there's many ways to network and get eyes on your work. You just have to be willing to provide value consistently to your reader, offer free helpful advice, and if they appreciate it they'll pay it forward in their own way.

NEXT UP: TIPS

This is one of my favourite ways (and tops ways) to make money on Vocal! The best thing about tipping is that your readers can choose how much they would like to gift you based on the content you provided them.

This is great because it creates a sort of mutualistic relationship between the reader and writer. If you: the reader, feel the writer provided you with value you can gift them value in return.

Typically it's just a small amount, $2, $5, $10 but it means a lot as a writer to feel were reaching our intended audience.

EARN VIA LINKS

Putting affiliate links in your writing is SO helpful when it comes to earning. This is most popular in fashion blogs (links to outfits, accessories, jewelry) but can be used for all niches!

For example:

Your YouTube Channel - If you create video content you can input your video content into your blogs so the reader can choose to watch or read (you get a view count for either one! Or both!)

Outdoor Gear - Are you a passionate outdoors person? Do you write about hiking, climbing, canoeing, biking, gardening, fishing, etc etc etc? Then tell us about your fave gear and add a link! (An affiliate link of course!)

Amazon Req's - Tell us about that amazing desk chair you bought last week - or - perhaps you sell products on amazon? Either way an affiliate link to the product will have you cashing in on your recommendations.

Your Own Products - if you sell anything... we want the link! Share your passion products with us, tell us why we need them, and take our money!

LET'S TALK CONTESTS

We all love the 'Challenges' feature of Vocal that provides creators an opportunity to win cash prizes for their work.

And they are awesome prizes!

Vocal

This a super effective way to earn because the lump sums earned at once are higher than reads or tips. This gives you an opportunity to earn big amounts at once while also passively earning from your regular vocal posts. Love it!

The Vocal bonus program is another epic way to earn. Vocal says, "Bonuses are another way we can cheer on our creators, by congratulating them for meeting certain milestones!"

We appreciate that, Vocal! While we push to meet our own milestones, it's nice to know we are meeting Vocal's as well (with a little cash reward!)

Whether you reached a milestone or simply produced a great piece - your efforts will be noticed and personally I admire that about the Vocal team.

Think you're just another writer? Think again! Produce quality like you are on a mission to beat your last piece, and you might see a bonus sooner than you think.

EARN MONEY DOING WHAT YOU LOVE
