PREMISE:

Multiple serial killers are living together in a large house. Filmed in Mockumentary style.

Satirizes and makes fun of true crime obsession, glamorization of serial killers, celebrity worship, etc.

CHARACTERS:

Percy the “Sunshine Strangler”: Catchphrase: “Sun’s out, thumbs out.” Only one in the house that always works during the day. Has an online store selling merchandise with his catchphrase on it.

The Exsanguinator: Older and mysterious. Doesn’t say much. Rest of the housemates constantly try and find clues to prove he’s whatever never caught serial killer they have decided on, no matter how ridiculous (Jack the Ripper, Zodiac, etc)

Rest Stop Betty: First of two females in the house. Unclear if she actually kills or not, but definitely does something to unfaithful and creepy men. Very much about fighting the glass ceiling in the serial killer world, and opening doors for more female serial killers.

Fiona G.: The second of two females in the house. Unclear what she does, but slowly begins to get the other housemates into therapy, become vegan, etc.

Hubert : Cannibal. Makes items out of human flesh. Always offering to cook. Artist.

Petey: Constantly changing his MO as he can’t quite decide what his gimmick is. NTH (needle twine hammer) at one point. Tries out cyphers and codes. Etc. New nicknames every episode.

Pilot:

Percy has conflict with the house as he is making too much noise during the day. House meeting is called to discuss the issue. Someone suggests changing up his gimmick or the time of day he operates. He counters with “I wouldn’t be the sunshine strangler, then would I? ‘Sun’s out, thumbs out!’” To which the house collectively says along with him and rolls their eyes. Percy shows how much he’s invested in the name with shirts, hydroflasks, frisbees, beanies, and a long list of merch he’s created and the money he’s made on it.

Meanwhile, Hubert is working on getting a stall at the local farmer’s market so he can sell his artisan flesh made lampshades, purses, cellphone cases, etc. Also has bone filtered cold brew. (he’s all about no waste and sustainable resources). Has to leverage his celebrity to get a coveted stall at the market. Can’t sell his skin koozies though, because Tommy The Koozie King already has a stand at the market, and there are rules about overlapping products.

Petey is trying out his latest gimmick, and is seeking approval from his housemates. Betty isn’t much help and Fionna tries to encourage him to be himself. “I don’t even know who that is,” Petey responds. He’s also feeling down because everyone else in the house is getting tons of fan mail, and he only gets current resident junk mail.

House debate on if The Exsanguinator is Zodiac. They try and compare his handwriting to the letters. Compare the sketches, including the one with the mask, to him whenever he isn’t looking. “Just picture him with the mask,”

The house comes together to help Hubert set up and run his stand at the market. Tommy the Koozie King sees how much business Hubert gets, and makes a deal to sell Hubert’s koozies and they’ll split the profits. The cold brew is grainy, but everyone seems to at least say they like it. Overall, the day is a success and the housemates all bond over it.

Percy makes some adjustments and makes sure he isn’t waking up his housemates.

Petey finally receives his first fan letter.

Hubert offers to grill and barbecue for everyone in thanks, but they all suddenly have plans and other places to be.

It’s revealed that Fionna wrote the letter to Petey to help him feel better about himself.
