The Working Men vs The Man

No Refuge for the Working Men

Intimidation, Warning, Deprivation of Freedom, and 21st Century slavery

Now I'm not a gang banger or a a felon mainly because I'm too much of a wimp or because I value my liberty that much, but when I see a cop, like most people, I don't feel a sense of relief or protection like most would. Instead I loathe them like some do. It's nothing personal but as agents and foot soldiers they are there to squeeze every dollar to THE MAN, at all costs.

This becomes a pain in the ass and in the shoulders of people who are trying to get by. Good people under all circumstances who try to make ends meet either to eat, put a roof over their heads, take care of their loved ones, all in the face of increase in prices, fares, fees here and there. Good god let's not even mention taxes.

Those damn taxes where individuals who choose not to marry, who choose not to have kids and who choose to work hard and make above a certain amount each year get the brunt of these government leeches. In the end receiving little to no tax refunds. Instead our money gets diverted to able bodied people who choose not to work, who choose to have like three plus kids and get awarded with them sweet four figure, and sometimes even five figure government checks.

But I don't blame them, like a fellow colleague once said "The government has no qualms of taking from the people, why should we?" And I agree. They're always trying to pit the lower classes against each other.

Now I don't hate cops but I don't like them either. In the end they are, you know, just doing their job. Like a lawyer, collection agent, a gas station agent who takes scolding by ignorant people who complain of high gas prices.

But this freaking menacing letter by the Transit Adjudication Bureau of NYC though. I can picture some city lawyer just dictating or him/herself writing the most intimidating letter like I was Walter White, with bile warning such as:

" We will GARNISH your wages"

"SEIZE your bank account"

"SEIZE AND SELL you non exempt personal property"

"ENFORCE the judgment against any real estate that you may own or have an interest in. "

"Failure to pay may result in your ARREST"

"You may be BARRED from obtaining NYC employment, entering military service, or obtaining credit."

Good grief people, it's only $150 dollars. If it was $500, I'm sure they would add an extra threat that would go something like, "We will kidnap you, cut open your body and harvest whatever good organs you have."

I have the $150 but wish not to pay them because I have given enough of my hard work every April to this government and their foot soldiers. I don't believe in socialism because as a South American, with my ex wife being from Venezuela, understand the consequences of such government.

I am glad to be in the United States; there's plenty of work and opportunities for those who choose to work. But god damn there comes a point when you're just trying to get your head out of the water when some bill, taxes, fines, fees, penalty, interests just just pushes you under water with some heavy hand that is untouchable.

There's the debilitating financial oppression. Let's not even get to our freedom which has been being curtailed since the Patriot Act to the current WOKISM. With all this stress, anxiety, more and more people are self-medicating with drugs, or more legally and more beneficial for the pharmaceutical industry, with prescription medication.

I've talked to many people from all walks of life as I participate in varied group meetings and with all these increase in mentally ill people roaming the streets, crimes more rampant, mass shootings, there's a mini revolution coming and it does not involve the Democratic, Republican, or Socialist parties, nor violence for the record. There's no mentioning the mass media, people have awoken from their lies and know who they serve. What's Next?
