Narrator 1: Kiev, Ukraine 1920 A.D

Narrator 2: Their were two lovers in the land before time who shared a love so pure and divine. They lived in a town surrounded by tress and cute little squirrels, residing next to an ocean with oysters harboring pearls. Him and her were close in age and they both enjoyed performances on the towns stage. Picnics along the coastline was considered a rage and when they skipped rocks among the ocean, the quiet town heard their laughter all around.

They were best friends from a rather innocent age but as years progressed their love couldn't be suppressed. A passion infiltrated her heart at best- she wanted him opposed to all the rest. A provincial town to be said, the less you knew was for the best. The citizens wanted a better life, women didn't want to be with a man who wasn't her choice, and neither did she. She knew who she loved the very day she meant him down by the bay, and while most were wed young to their parents choice- she ran away every single time.

Most of the community envied the lavish weddings for the rich, and the jealousy of the colorful dresses too, while basic white fabric was less then the best. She lived in a tree, as odd as it seemed- but at least their she was free. Times were changing- and so were hearts, women were soon able to choose who they wanted to be married too. But still that girl didn't come home, instead she admired the weddings from afar with awe as she thought "Happily ever after's are true after all."

But this was a quiet little town, a picturesque community with hidden secrets to be found. In this town true love was uncommon and marriage was a rite only given to the rich, and even though times were changing- a war was brewing and no one could sleep; a once peaceful town was turned upside down. The draft was coming and she was scared- and a million thoughts raced through her mind and as the tears poured from her eyes, she thinks" what if I lose the man I hold so dear? What if I need to confront my darkest fear?

The thoughts of losing her beloved caused a pain to hard to bare, what if he dies not knowing how much I care? As the tears fell from her eyes, she caught a glimpse of him in the corner of her eye. He approaches with caution not sure how to say goodbye.

Narrator 1: He holds her in his heart with care, notices her tears and promises that he'd always be their. Dressed head to toe wearing military gear he turns to walk away, when she grabs his hand and begs him to stay. Taken aback by the sudden gesture, he didn't know what to say- as much he wanted to he couldn't stay, and he couldn't bring himself to say goodbye- deep down he knew he loved her too.

He stated at her for quite some time being unsure of what to say or do. But what he said took her breath away. Almost impiously he caressed her cheek and kissed her so passionately and tender- mentioned something about running away together and whispers "I love you", into her ear. She smiled with glee as a glimmer of hope appeared in her eyes, she exclaimed " This is the best thing that's happened to me."

With that he left the little town- shortly after the deployment ship sank to the ground.....devastated she goes back to her tree, staring out into the sea....and counts " 1....2.....3". In the land before time they made a vow to always be reunited someway, somehow. In this world or the next, we will one day connect heart and soul, body and mind our day for love will come in time.

Their love story became a legend that lives until know.
