Matchmakers Are Busy Helping Senior Singles in Fort Myers
Dating and finding love is very difficult no matter your age, but it can be even more challenging for singles over 50, 60, 70 or beyond. Sorry about the shirt!
“Maybe I should have worn the Burgundy… Hold on one second” Let me position my phone slightly higher in the air so she can get a better view of my outfit. Is it weird that I keep turning my head side to side to recon the outside of the restaurant to avoid any awkward stares? I probably look ridiculous…

Only The First Date
Only The First Date Jackson Taylor stared across the table at his date. He stared directly into her eyes. They were the most beautiful things on her face. As he stared, they sat at a round table in a restaurant that they had chosen for their first date. They had known each other for years working in the same building for the same business; but this was the first time they had gone out. It was right after the first time that he had developed the courage to ask her out not knowing that she had, for just as long, wanted to ask him out.

Love in New York
Challenging, scary and interesting this day should be considering the placement of it all. This is going to be my first real, blind, fancy date. Unsure if I am nervous about my date or am I nervous about the environment. This place looks sophisticated but also well off. Dylan, my blind date, must have paid a good hand to get us a place here. The Capital Grille looks too fancy for my taste.

Little Blackbird
Little Blackbird You cannot start a fire with a feather. My Grandma’s unique phrase was a perfect metaphor for my current situation. Trying to start a fire with a feather is like dating in your sixties – an exercise in futility. A feather is the wrong tool for starting a fire; it is not a match. How do you find a match – or what is the appropriate tool for dating in life’s later years?

First Date?
What do I like? What do I like? I repeated this to myself as I drummed my fingers against my laptop keyboard. When you break it down that is a HARD question to answer. I stared for a while at that dumb website Siobhan signed me up for: EZMatch.com, no relation to match. It’s a knock off. I slammed the lid closed on the laptop. As I was about to move from my crossed legged position on the floor, Siobhan's voice rang out from bathroom. “I hope you are finishing up that profile!”
