Dream Date
I'd always wanted to go on a date! A real date that is! One where I can be my most true self and not be ashamed by it! Real dates require no phones unless taking pics or sharing locations. You would hear this type of thing usually on the inside of a girl/woman’s mind. However, it's neither in this case because it’s my mind. Yes, the mind of a young man! Although I may be young, I have experience! However, I don't flaunt like I'm a gentleman know it all, but I can always improve. With that being said, this story/informative text will reveal my step-by-step process for my fantasy date! After a while, a glass or two of "Merlot" will be poured as well.

Morning Merlot
I had found this vintage, silk wrap dress at a secondhand store in Bloomington while I was visiting my sister at IU a few years ago but had never worn it. The silk was thin but not cheap. It draped, wrapped, and tapered at all the right places as if it had been custom made to fit me. The deep emerald jewel tone looked perfect on my tan skin, thanks to an impromptu girl’s weekend in Miami Beach. My hair, down for the first time in a long time, lay in long waves down my back. Even my winged eyeliner was flawless. I couldn’t help but smile at myself in the mirror and hope he was as pleased with what he saw as I was. He had sent me flowers to work today…okay to my house, but I was working. The card said “Wear something nice. See you at 7:30 p.m. ~K” Naturally, I watched 50 Shades of Grey while I was getting ready.

Two Stars Shine Brighter Than One
There is a restaurant that is located on the corner of Main and Essa called ‘LaFrenzo’ which is an Italian bar and grill that has international foods from Italy such as pizza and pasta. LaFrenzo is a small eatery that couples would go to when they wanted, to experience the cultures from Italy. One of the employees from LaFrenzo named ‘Noah’ decided to go for a walk along the street on his lunch break when he suddenly stumbled upon a woman named ‘Ava’ as he looked up from the sidewalk where he dropped coins from his wallet. It was love at first sight as they glared into each other’s eyes and he asked her out on a date. They decided to go to LaFrenzo, which is a quaint place where people would go to on first dates when getting to know each other. The date was going very well as they ate their pizza and salad. They both ordered refreshing water to go with their meal. Ava said that she needed to go to the bathroom to freshen up as soon as they both finished their meals.

Romancing the Railway
Esme boarded Amtrak's Ethan Allen Express in Albany, bound for New York City. She gave her face mask a gentle tug at the bottom to adjust its fitting and seated herself a quaint spot on the right-hand side for optimal viewing from the passenger window. She withdrew her boarding ticket from her handbag for the conductor making his rounds, letting out a disappointed sigh when she heard the dining cart was closed for her trip, estimated at 2 hours and 41 minutes. Unfortunately, Amtrak was operating only at 50% capacity due to Covid 19. Surrounded by empty seats reminded her of how isolated the world had become, her time in seclusion without a companion. A glass of merlot from her Bright Cellars Wine collection seemed like the perfect solution to her, but knowing she would have to make do, she shrugged her shoulders and turned her attention to the world outside the window. A couple of blackbirds resting on the track platform caught her attention, forcing her to chuckle as "little blackbird" is another name for merlot.

In Dire Need of Forgetting. Top Story - April 2021.
Rosalie Evers hated restaurants like this. Everyone knows the type; white tablecloth, red carpet, yellow candles, and a golden chandelier glistening slightly too high for proper appreciation. Sitting at her own uncomfortably crisp table, she sighed and pulled out her phone.

The DOUCHE Date
People with almost no time for themselves always try to find love on blind dates. This was one of those. Two people, two busy men trying to find the other half – if there is such thing. It was a friend of a friend that set them up, and they have been talking for months now. Philip and Jonas didn’t have a proper date until today.

Third Time's the Charm
It was official. Today was the longest Thursday in recorded history. Ok, maybe I was being a bit dramatic, but today seemed to be never ending. All day I had been looking forward to that blissful moment where you let your hair down, toss your bra in the hamper and pull on your sweatpants. You know the one. It was usually accompanied by a sigh of relief and the feeling of pure relaxation. Very few things in life are sweeter than that moment, except maybe adding in a nice glass of wine and an attractive man to share it with, but sadly none of those things were within my reach today.

5 Truths From Being Intentionally Deceived
Have you ever loved somebody with such purity that you choose to see them in the brightest light possible regardless of their actions? Maybe you desire to love them so fiercely unconditionally that you’re willing to ignore red flags in an attempt to have a higher perspective of them. Perhaps even the idea of red flags annoys you because you want to give this person that you love the benefit of the doubt.
