Soulmate or Twin Flame

Today people often use twin flame and soulmates interchangeably. However, this is not always the case. Twin flames and soulmates are actually 2 different things. So let's dive in and really break down each of these.

Twin flames are like two halves of a whole. Soulmates can be multiple people, who share their current same energetic frequency. Let this article help you delve further into your spiritual connections in life.

Soulmates

Soulmates come to us for very many different reasons. Soulmates also come to us in the shape of family, friends, or even strangers passing by on the street. The reasons are usually to push us to grow in our outside world. I have found through meeting many soulmates that soulmates push us to grow and improve our outside world. Let's go over some signs you may be with a soulmate.

Signs you may be with a soulmate:

• You felt an instant connection. This feeling is when you look at them and you can feel that their is almost and instant spark. This can also be the feeling of instantly recognizing someone as your new best friend rather quickly.
• Your souls feel familiar. This feeling will feel like you have met this person before. You may trust with this person rather quickly. This is different than feeling like they are literally the other half of your soul...that is a twin flame.
• You help each other grow on the outside. This person and you will feel comfortable together, usually from the beginning. This allows the relationship to be comfortable enough to push you past your comfort zone.
• Uncomfortable conversations are usually effortless because the love is unconditional and non-judgmental.
• Morals & Values may be way different, but you accept & love each other anyway.

Twin Flames

Twin flames are only between 2 special people, it does not matter the relationship between one another, just like soulmates. BUT! Not everyone will have a Twin flame, if you are one of the lucky ones, you are here to do a certain job. This is usually consists of healing & helping others in some way. These relationships are completely different because they require two people to put in the work for their past debts & mistakes so that they can come together and fulfill their soul's ultimate mission together. Even if you don't have a twin flame this lifetime, you may have one in your next!

Signs you are with a twin flame:

• Sense that you're meeting yourself. This feeling is like you have just met, well.. your twin. You will share the same morals & values.
• Multiple similarities, usually feels like too many. It will be almost every conversation talking , something along your story lines will be the same thing as what you went through or are going through.
• Desire to grow & evolve both inward & outward. Twin flames will trigger you and all of your insecurities and things you have not worked on. So after meeting many soulmates who helped guide you along, you may get a twin flame who pushes you to then do the inner work. This inner work can get scary for a lot of people. This is why most people choose to stick to a soulmate.
• Prioritization of growth over being in the relationship. This means that you can fully accept that no matter the final destination of the relationship, you go on growing and working on yourself.
