I have a story about my experience of dying and going to heaven. At the time, I was working in the Seattle area for King County as a supervisor in the probation department of the juvenile courts. I truly loved my job and enjoyed working with adolescents. I used to say that I would continue doing it until the day I died. Unfortunately, on May 5th, 2006, I passed away due to a kidney stone that got stuck on the right side.

Having had kidney stones before, I recognized the pain immediately. Initially, I thought I could wait it out or endure the pain until it subsided. However, this time it didn't go away. I remember going to the emergency room and casually informing them about my kidney stone. I knew the routine because I had been through the procedures before. They took me into a room, administered morphine, and the pain disappeared. Additionally, I had a kidney infection, for which they prescribed antibiotics.

The medical staff decided to keep me overnight and perform the operation the next day. The procedure went smoothly as they successfully broke up the stones. However, they later discovered that the antibiotics they gave me didn't effectively treat the infection. Consequently, when the stones were broken up, the toxins entered my bloodstream, causing me to become septic. As a result, my entire body began to shut down, including my heart and lungs. According to the medical records, I was clinically dead for approximately an hour and 45 minutes.

What struck me the most was the surprising lack of fear I experienced during the process of dying. As a born-again Christian, I firmly believed that heaven awaited me after death, and I was actually looking forward to it. Even when I realized that I was dying, I calmly acknowledged the fact and thought to myself, "I'm dying."
