A Kink of Tea
A love triangle between three cups. Now that's something you don't hear of every day. Not just any old love triangle either. What if I were to tell you that there is a possible love triangle happening right now in your very kitchen? You would think I've gone mad. Well, I haven't actually, well maybe I have. Okay, I will admit it I have gone mad, but it was no real secret. I can hear all the cups talking every night.

To the one I once loved, I could have lived my life happily, not knowing what emotional abuse was. Then you walked into my life. You carried yourself with courage and self-confidence. I found you daring and dashing. Sadly, it was the walk that kills me when I still see you every day. The walk where you puff your chest out and clench your fists at your side. Despite your colourful personality, you weren’t the prettiest. You were short with pimples covering every inch of your face. Those things didn’t matter to me though. I ignored every sign and every signal. My friends and family told me recognize the power you held in your confidence. To see the hatred you hid behind those beautiful blue eyes. Despite it all, I was convinced you were my future.

There we were: standing front row at a concert for our favorite band. He had his arms wrapped around me from behind; although I had such love for the band, I couldn't focus on anything except him. He was so beautiful, his body towering over me and making me feel safe inside, despite the hundreds of people behind me pushing and shoving me towards the barricade. As annoying as this cliché is, he felt like home.

It was a night at the Fat Cat that started it all. The Fat Cat at seventy-fifth, Christopher street. Ping pong, pool, a game of spades, and live jazz performances. Bray had gone because this would be the third chance spending a good amount of time with Nalani. They've met through a mutual friend, Ray Puna, who once had a fling with her (that bothered Bray, in all honesty). It didn't work well, he just wasn't ready to commit to anything, though she was. It left a weird impression on Bray.

I think it is safe to say that we have all been there. Maybe it was a simple thing you really didn't even realize you did wrong and you were instantly forgiven by some kind soul, or maybe you have been practically on your knees begging for forgiveness after you had done something not even you thought you would do, ever. Either way, I feel we can all relate on this one.

When I was born I was already crying the wrong tears. You see, depending on the emotion that we’re feeling, each tear is different. Each tear holds the exact emotion that caused the tear to form. The exact feeling that flowed through your brain at the exact moment in which that beautiful little raindrop of your DNA falls down your cheek. Each tear, each emotion, has its own chemistry.

It's been about a week since they last spoke. Bray was in his room, laying on his bed, speaking on the phone with a friend who'd just abruptly become a part of his life, again. The conversation was deliberately slow, he swallowed air for each paced deliverance, and with great effort, held any release of tears and the exhale of heavy emotion. It was a hard moment for him when he had heard tell of Nalani's thoughts on the situation that had transpired between the two of them. He had an idea of what she would say, but hoped for something different.

There's something really, really wrong about modern dating. At least, that's the general consensus you'll hear if you ask women. Most women are getting increasingly leery about dating and relationships, primarily because the men they're encountering don't treat women as people.
Mackenzie Z. KennedyPublished 7 years ago in HumansSurefire Signs He's With You for the Wrong Reasons
In my years in the dating scene, I have been in a lot of relationships that didn't really make sense. A lot of the men treated me well — then would disappear once they had gotten whatever it was they wanted. At times, I wasn't much better; I used to date guys just so that I would have a boyfriend.
Ossiana M. TepfenhartPublished 7 years ago in HumansBe Weird
We're all unique and weird in our own way. I love that and I wouldn't have it any other way. If we were all the same, life would be pretty boring, don't you think? I read somewhere recently that said 'being called weird is like being called a limited edition, it means people don't see that often.' What people don't see often is usually, in their minds, "weird." We're often quick to judge if someone is different from us in our minds we perceive it as not normal. We're all perfectly unique which is an amazing thing.
Young Love
There seems to be a stigma about people, teenagers specifically, falling love. Why is that? As a teenager myself, I never had the time to date, and now as I sit in my dorm room as a college freshman, I can guarantee that I probably won't have time to find a serious relationship this year either. Unlike me, who would rather be in my dorm all the time working on school work, reading, writing, or even binge watching anything on Netflix, a lot of college freshmen are in serious relationships. So many times have teenagers had to listen to adults tell us to slow down, that we are too young to be in a serious relationship, that we are just signing up to get our hearts broken. I just want to scream every time I hear that; isn't that the point of being with someone? Taking things too fast, falling in love too fast, and breaking up too fast. How else are teenagers supposed to grow up and move on if we don't experience our first heartbreak? Teens understand that parents want to protect us from all the evil in the world, but we need to make mistakes and have our hearts be broken over and over again, and this is something that parents shouldn't and can't protect us from forever.
Carlie SchofieldPublished 7 years ago in HumansTeachers: The Most Influential People on Earth!
There are a few interesting people who have always amazed me. One of the fascinating people on Earth seems to be hypnotists. They seem to ask for volunteers, put them to sleep, and make them cluck like ducks and stuff. Magicians seem to perform "magic and stuff." Clowns, to some extent, can make some people laugh. I used to truly believe this until I reached high school. Then, it all fell apart because I saw things for what they truly were. Hypnotists used plants, people who were paid to get up on stage and fake it. Magicians had hidden devices like keys in order to escape their handcuffs and other stuff. Clowns were a bit closer to believable because they were able to make most children laugh, but eventually scared adults away.
