Diversity and Unity - Subjectivity and Objectivity - Partners, or Enemies?

We are all Unique. - We are all Precious. We are all Different. - We are all Valuable.

We are all holding onto a part of the puzzle, but to see the whole picture, we must come together and become something greater than we could ever be, alone.

Diversity, by nature, generates subjectivity. Diversity is an amazing thing, as anyone who can imagine a world with absolutely no diversity whatsoever could realize, and it certainly has its place. But diversity can also be used as a weapon ensuring unity does not occur.

While we can and should, choose to appreciate the diversity of humanity, we must also be cautious to not let diversity, for the sake of diversity, be the end goal, especially if it means no objectivity.

Objectivity and subjectivity must exist in a balance. Unity can exist within diversity.

Consider any of the following conditions:

Pure diversity vs Pure unity, and: Pure objectivity vs Pure subjectivity.

Everything exists in a balance. One is essentially less than whole, if it's missing its partner, for that is what keeps it in balance. Too much of a good thing can actually be a bad thing if the only reason it's considered to be good is because it exists in a particular balance, relative to its counterpart.

We live in a complex and diverse world with an everlasting sea of diversity to explore, information to be learned, observations and data to be interpreted all via our individual, limited, subjective lens.

However, the universe is too orderly to exist without anything objective governing it and those within it. If there is something governing all matter, how is it unreasonable to consider something governing life as well, which exists separately from matter? Everything in the realm of Energy, Light, and Life, matter is merely a medium by which those things can exist in a certain state that allows them to be observed. Life exists. Light exists. Energy exists. Yet, while matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed, life can certainly be both created and destroyed. Life is infinitely more in need of governance, whether self-governance, or via external forces, but it all exists in a balance that maintains a certain level of order, which allows life to thrive amid the matter and energy in the universe.

Biggest Takeaway:

It is a fatal mistake to abstain from any unity within the diversity, as it is also a fatal mistake to claim or adhere to a perspective which fails to recognize or acknowledge any or all objectivity that exists. Let's work together to identify what we should unite on, and what is objective. But we can only do that through our subjective and diverse reality, that is life. That is beauty. That is our purpose: learning to live together, learning how to love each other, and to never cease the learning process. There is a reason we don't know everything; we weren't meant to. Instead, we were meant to enjoy the experience and the journey of learning, the exploration of ourselves and others, the building of relationships and the creations we can manifest from these building blocks we call matter, comprised of a diversity of elements, each with a unique role to play, each with its own unique value. Each with its own strengths and weaknesses. But all working together to become something better than they could ever be, individually.

Know your value. Know your worth. Know your role. Realize your potential. Because no one can do it for you, and no one can do it better than you. For the very reason of no one else having experienced your own unique set of experiences, you deserve to have your voice heard. Make a wave, and maybe spark a flame in the life of one another. We are all different; we are all unique. We are all precious. We are all valuable. We are all full of potential to change the world.

Are you going to be part of that global change?
