An unexpected open letter

I had an abortion. 2 abortions actually. A total of maybe 3 people outside of the boys that impregnated me know this. Not that this is news you go around sharing with everyone, but I’ve never felt more of a need to share my story than over recent news about Roe V. Wade being overturned. Society wants to make me feel ashamed and embarrassed of getting not one, but two abortions. I’m not embarrassed though, if anyone should be embarrassed it’s the boys that impregnated me without my knowledge or consent to do so. One boy told me I need to get an abortion because I’m too mentally ill to carry said child and raise it. In that situation my mental illness was used as a weapon and I was made out to be some crazy person that wouldn’t be able to care for another human. Roe V. Wade being overturned is more than just abortion. It’s about basic human rights being stripped away because people in power want control. The people who are pro-life are pro-control. They don’t give two fucks about the mother or the child. There is nothing, FUCKING NOTHING, there to take care of said mom and baby…but of course mom is expected to carry full term and look after said baby. If you say, “that baby has a heartbeat, you can’t kill it!’, then child support should start at the same time as the first heartbeat. But, we can legally pull the plug on people who are brain dead, but still have a heartbeat. Without a brain you have no cognitive function or awareness of literally anything, but sure go off on heartbeat equals life. If abortion is murder; then male masturbation is genocide, blowjobs are cannibalism, ultrasounds are child pornography. If you’re pro-life, would you support the child born if they’re poor? Transgender? Gay? Any race that isn’t white? Mentally ill? Disabled? Sick? Or…hear me out, what if that baby you force to be born decides one day to shoot up a school? You’re gonna ban juuls, but not assault rifles…so kids are allowed to die quickly, but not slowly, yeah that makes sense. America is a fucking joke, we’re the land of the free (restrictions apply). I just want to throw this in for all the christians that are like gOd SaId AbOrTiOnS aRe A sIn, your man upstairs actually said life begins at breath (Genesis 2:7, Job 33:4, Ezekiel 37:5-6), so disrespectfully fuck your bible. If you are pro-life, take care of actual life…not shaming and yelling at women that you know nothing about nor have ever met. Anyone that is pro-life is anything BUT pro-life. Any man that has benefited from a girl getting an abortion needs to speak the fuck up. This isn't just a woman problem, it is a human problem and too many people think it's not their problem. I'm going to go out on a limb here, but NOBODY has asked for the government to be in their uterus. I know I only asked for a dick, dildo, or fingers to be in my cooch…not religion or laws. Everybody needs to mind their business. Not your body? Then not your choice. That's what you pro-life bitches said when it was time for the vaccine. Somebody else's choice has NOTHING to do with you. If you don't like abortion, don't have one. You don't believe in birth control? Don't take it. If you don't want to marry someone of the same sex, don't. As a 23 year old, I shouldn't be fighting for the same shit people in 1973 did. It's 2022, fucking get it together.
