I Live in a Monster
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. I know the other “me” well enough now to control him, but it wasn’t always like that. I couldn’t bare to think about all the people in my life that I cared so much about. Their own death caused by another man, but with my own hands. I could still feel the blood dripping down my face, the blood that didn’t belong to me. I could taste it, my other self licking it with satisfaction. I look in the mirror to see the disgusting monster living in my body. To see the horrid beast waiting to come out and devour a helpless victim. Every day I am cursed, my stomach in knots, my aching muscles straining to keep this demon inside of me.

The Mirror
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn’t my own. It was a twisted, hideous mockery of the human form, a grotesque caricature of some perverse artist’s nightmare. The figure’s skin was mottled and bruised, its hair a tangled mass of greasy black strands that hung lifelessly around its misshapen face. A wide, malicious grin revealed teeth as sharp and twisted as a shark’s, and its eyes, those soulless orbs of midnight, seemed to burrow into the darkest corners of my mind.

The Portrait
Part I: The Antique Shop Late autumn had filled the quaint town of Derry, Maine, with the colors of rust and gold. A crisp chill clung to the air, and the scent of woodsmoke and decay lingered like a half-forgotten memory. On a desolate street lined with abandoned antique shops, there stood one whose dusty window still beckoned passersby with a single handwritten sign: “Closing Sale. Everything Must Go.”

The urban legend
Plot: A group of teenagers investigates a civic legend, only to find that it's each too real. It was a typical Friday night in the small city of Millfield. A group of teenagers were sitting around a bonfire, telling ghost stories and civic legends. The air was crisp, and the sky was clear. But there was a bite in the air, and the atmosphere was tense.
