Spiders in My Lungs
It was late into the night when you visited me, my back to the the sheets and mouth open wide my snores a sounding call to your future nest. It was pitch black in the abyss that was my eyelids as the you approached the open cavity that was my nose. Your 8 legs tired from the journey a few egg sacks on your back carrying the future of your kind, you wanted a safe place for your young, and I was a victim of circumstance. Yet unbeknownst to me you so did crawl into my nose which alarmed me to an extent at the blockage of air making it's way to my lungs. You stay silent and still hiding in the dirty cave of bacteria as you waited for me to lull myself to sleep in my half awake state. This place just wouldn't do, so you made your way inwards determined to find the perfect location despite my fears, or at least the protests I would have if I was awake.

It's Spooky Season
Ever since I was little Halloween was one of my favorite holidays. There are a couple of reasons why. Most of them are the typical reasons like just about everyone else. Like dressing up in the costumes and doing all the makeup. Makeup has always been fun for me to do. There are sometimes when can’t decide to be scary or cute. Another reason Halloween is fun to me is because of the haunted houses. Which is sort of weird since everything inside the haunted house does occasionally get me. Even decided that I would never go alone in one. Then started to think and wonder how did Halloween even start? I doubt a lot of people wonder why so then started digging for information soon after that. After doing lots of research this is what I found and the reasons was very interesting. It was actually dated back a long time ago with a certain group of people. There was a lot of information, but with this essay I just wanted to focus on the Celtic people at the time.

Conclude
Dorothy's gaze was trained on the blazing hearth, but her mind was admittedly elsewhere in the world. Her wine colored nails tapped against a cherry printed mug, steam wafting from the tea inside of it. Every so often she would raise it up, not to sip from it for it was still too warm, but to inhale the fragrant aroma. Her feet slowly slid back and forth over the plush, blush pink rug that covered the built-in cream carpet flooring. She could hear a heavy storm push wave upon wave of rain onto her windows, but her curtains had been firmly closed since the last ridge of daylight had left the sky.

Escaping Candles
The light flickered as I whipped my finger back and forth across the light of the candle in the window and looked out of the foggy glass. It was the night before Halloween and I had decorated the house with dozens of orange candles. They sat on the long dining room table and in the window sills. A ding resonated on my phone while I was deep in thought. "All those candles will burn the house down!" The text appeared from my friend Jackson who was currently walking to my door to pick me up for the Halloween party.

Rosemary's Bastard
This Review contains some spoilers. Before turning on Rosemary’s Baby, I had heard much praise from many different friends, many I know through theatre, are avid film buffs like me, or have just said it’s worth watching Along with those I mentioned who I know personally, I’ve heard many critics talk about how much they loved this film. One of my favorite authors, Stephen King, was among them. So with all of this in mind going into the movie, I was beyond excited. However, after finishing the movie, I was more than disappointed, I was pissed. Watching this movie made me angry, which is something that rarely happens to me with films. But this film, from beginning to end, made me mad. And since we’re in the wonderful month of October, with horror movies coming out of our ears in preparation for Halloween, I felt it was appropriate to warn you all who perhaps haven’t seen this film before you waist any portions of your valuable time.

The Travler
Good evening! As your host let’s begin with The Universe, can be a very unforgiving place. Cold, dark and desperate. Quite similar to the mappings of human nature. Our first oral rendering calls for an individual who does not heed warnings of a small towns ordinance. A town like any small town, some were in anywhere America. To our Traveler, who could be cared less with ordinances or small town politics? Enjoys the company of the dark, its silence and simplicity. To him the lonely roads hint at what adventures lay before them. Unknown to them, the shadows always watch, protect and glare out with greedy eyes. Teeth clicked and observing with a kind of horrid omnipotence. Just around the next corner awaiting the unsuspecting traveler.

The Haunted Cave
The title image does not do justice of how terrifying this story actually was. Let’s just say, I’m never going into a cave again. If you’ve ever been in a cave, or if you’ve seen The Descent, or As Above, So Below, you probably understand how unsettling caves are. On a trip to Minneapolis to visit friends, we decided to go up to St. Paul to explore a cave system.

Film Review: Gretel & Hansel
Anyone familiar with the original versions of classic fairy tales like “Hansel and Gretel” already knows that they have lots of horror movie potential. As a rule though, most attempts to capture these tales on film tend to miss the mark. It’s clear from the conspicuous reversal of the titular names that Gretel & Hansel hopes to distinguish itself from the rest of the pack right from the get-go, but does it actually do the job, or are you better off spending 90 minutes of your time on some other film?

I saw a girl in the woods ...
Have you ever walked alone in the woods late at night? Well ... I have Everyone is afraid of something in their life. Whether it is heights, dark, wild animals, sound or even ghosts. I was once afraid of the dark, especially outside alone. To overcome my fear of the dark, one day I decided to walk in the woods past mid night. As I lived in a country side it was pitch dark past mid night where ever I walk. In the beginning I was terrified from the unknown of what to expect and what I cannot see. I tried to overcome my fear by thinking about stuff to create distraction from the unknown. After a few minutes of walking, I started to feel better and breathed calmer. It was a strange feeling as my other senses than sight seemed enhanced especially my hearing. I was able to hear the wind blowing the leaves on a tree, hear my footsteps, and unknown sounds I could not recognize.
