Have you ever walked alone in the woods late at night?
Well ... I have
Everyone is afraid of something in their life. Whether it is heights, dark, wild animals, sound or even ghosts. I was once afraid of the dark, especially outside alone. To overcome my fear of the dark, one day I decided to walk in the woods past mid night. As I lived in a country side it was pitch dark past mid night where ever I walk. In the beginning I was terrified from the unknown of what to expect and what I cannot see. I tried to overcome my fear by thinking about stuff to create distraction from the unknown. After a few minutes of walking, I started to feel better and breathed calmer. It was a strange feeling as my other senses than sight seemed enhanced especially my hearing. I was able to hear the wind blowing the leaves on a tree, hear my footsteps, and unknown sounds I could not recognize.
This year on Saturday, October 31st people are celebrating Halloween. Most common celebration ceremony is called Trick-or-treating where one goes around houses for treats or treating. As 2020 becomes a year of social distancing, Halloween would be unlike the norms of what we know. People would be careful of human interactions and receiving treats in both could spread the virus. As a result, I would be celebrating at my home with close ones in my house. In this case it would be my cat, Coco Pang Pang.
Back when I was in university all-nighter studing or working on projects were tough but a requirement to get my grades. I prepared myself to endure the night with healthy treats and water to keep me going. But with all sorts of preparation, music was my go to for all-nighters. The key is to find the right kind of tracks to keep me fresh, motivated, and energetic though the nights. I will share a few of my tracks to help you though the nights as I experienced during university. Just as a fyi, even after my graducation I keep these tracks to help me going though my days.
The CLOUD was created to explore how our sense of taste and smell interact with each other to determine how we perceive flavour. The team observed that traditionally we only consume foods in two phases; solids and liquids. We pushed to engineer a way to break this constraint, and theorized what if we could enjoy our favourite dishes through another medium.
