You Conjure it, You Bought it...
“You conjure it, you bought it!” is a tagline that I often like to use when lecturing on the paranormal in my role as a paranormal investigator. I know that it sounds mean to some as most do not deliberately try to let lose an unfriendly entity in their home, or even worse, a demonic entity, however, it is an easy thing to do. This concept applies not just to Spirit boards ad Ouija boards, but also to known “haunted” items or objects removed from known haunted locations.

The Transforming
Everybody was turning, one by one. The masses were scared. The town folk could be seen going into the town's Reverence Hall, clutching their soul spheres in their shaking hands. I followed them in, curious. I ignored the screaming around me, the confusion, as everybody swarmed like hornets being stirred up.

Sarah finished the dishes in the white porcelain sink and looked out the kitchen window toward her neighbor’s apartment. She could see her neighbor sitting alone at his card table, draped with a white sheet, eating his TV dinner. Their apartments were so close, she could read the package of his meal; Salisbury steak with green peas and instant mashed potatoes. It was a warm summer’s night and Sarah could feel the sweat dripping down her back, making her wife-beater tank top cling to her body like a small child to his mother’s leg. She ripped off a paper towel from the roll that lay next to the sink and wiped her hands, then wiped down the cracked white tiled countertops. As she stood there she could feel the day weighing heavy on her body like a weighted blanket that had been draped over her shoulders. She thought about all the things that still needed to be done before she went to bed and wished she had someone to help her, but that someone always came with a price she reminded herself; a price she was not willing to pay. She’s made that mistake once, twice, three times before and had paid her dues. Now she has chosen to be alone and carry the weighted blanket like the cape of a Royal Queen. Deep in thought, Sarah heard a small voice yell out,
Kyla Jane BarkerPublished 3 years ago in HorrorWhat Happened to Horror?
Horror movies have gotten weird lately, huh? It seems like they always either have some gimmick or they’re attached to existing franchises. We haven’t gotten a really solid, classic horror movie in a while.

If you could be a jellyfish for one night, would you go for it? No, I don’t have some mad science idea on how to become a jellyfish (sounds like an awesome Magic School Bus episode though, doesn’t it?). However, armed with a clear chip bowl, some bubble wrap, tape, a strobe light, and a pair of scissors I could grant you that wish. If you wanted to get extra classy you could add some double-sided lace. Then you too could join my Jellyfish army bwahahaha… Errr. I got a little side-tracked there. Moving on. I go a little nuts on Halloween, I always make my costumes and I tend to go overboard. Here is my pride and joy, one of the best Halloween costumes I have ever created I give you the Jellyfish-

Kristy AndersonPublished 3 years ago in HorrorThe Roots of Negative Paranormal Activity
There are some very basic guidelines to keeping good energy in your house and bad energy out of your home. Let’s take a very surface level look at this on the paranormal side of things. When I tell people that I’m a paranormal investigator I’m often met with the phrase that I’m “just inviting bad things in.” In truth it’s very rare to encounter anything truly negative in a paranormal investigation. I have been a part of hundreds of paranormal investigations and I can count the times on one hand that I have actually encountered anything negative or evil. In my experience negative or evil activity has been directly related to occult rituals, black magic practitioners, and Spirit boards or Ouija boards. Most of the time the haunt is actually someone’s relative just stopping by for a visit.

It was cold. I shivered as I came to. Opening my eyes, everything seems blurry. This causes my heart to pound; what happened to my vision? Normally, I could see fine; why was everything blurry? Was this what needing glasses was like?
Two true spooky stories
This isn't one of those based on a true story tales, not one of those passed down for year ones either. These were both told to me by various stories soon after they happened, one part happened to me as well so I know that bit to be true as well.

On days that I am particularly stressed, I would drive myself up to our family cabin, overlooking the lake. So many memories, so many plans made there. It’s easy to let it all drain away, sitting, watching, as the sun goes up and down over the water. Like a picture I made up in my mind. It’s been years since I w as back here. Everything still looks the same, pretty quiet now…with everyone gone.

I normally see strange dreams. Not sure what a psychologist can interpret from them... but they make my nights entertaining, and my days creative- cause unlike movies these dreams never reach a conclusion and get to think of so many ways it can end...

It didn’t look like a building, that was the first thing Chris thought. Bricks and mortar were scattered, shattered and worn and over their battered form a jagged, ragged, metal spear rose sharply to meet the dawn. The frame of the building had remained intact, though its brick-lain facade had crumbled to ruin. It had stood that way for years upon years, growing more ruinous but never fading from memory. A ghost of the building lived on, clothed in the horrors it once housed within its sagging belly that its defiant walls alone recall. Time had tried to bury it with rain and wind alone as no growing thing would touch it, despite its age and despite its location no green or flowering life blossomed between the cracks in the well worn concrete. Nothing grew. Nothing lived. The factory stood in its grave, rotting alive, refusing to die entombed with secrets that no waking mind should hope to find. The Belle Factory craned its warped head above the trees and grinned a crooked smile of broken steel as new life approached it again. The only life foolish enough to do so.
