The ancient Mayan civilization has astounded archeologists for decades, and more and more puzzling discoveries related to this ancient culture continue to be made. The Mayans were obsessed with astronomy, and with a highly advanced calendar that is still accurate today, we still need to figure out how or who built the calendar. Were the Mayans, and with the knowledge, actually aliens?

The most famous pyramid is the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacán. Teotihuacán was one of the most dominant societies in Mesoamerica. According to Aztec tradition, the sun, the moon, and the rest of the universe traced their origins to Teotihuacán. The base of the Pyramid of the Sun measures 730 feet per side, with five stepped terraces reaching a height of some 200 feet.

Within the current pyramid is another, earlier pyramid structure of almost the same size. In 1971, archaeologists discovered a cave underneath the Pyramid of the Sun, leading to a chamber shaped like a four-leaf clover. Artifacts in the cave indicated the room’s use as a shrine long before the pyramid was built. Though similar, the Pyramid of the Moon was built on a smaller scale and is called the Avenue of the Dead. Teotihuacán also contains a smaller stepped, stone-covered temple pyramid called the Temple of the Feathered Serpent Quetzalcoatl. It was dedicated around A.D. 200, and evidence has been found of some 200 individuals who were sacrificed in the ceremony to honor it.

There were a couple of names for a feathered serpent god in the Mayan pantheon who descended from the heavens and taught these ancient people about astronomy, architecture, and construction. It was known as the Quetzalcoatl in the Nahuatl language and Kukulkan in Mayan; this entity was highly revered. Kukulkan told the Mayans that he would one day return to Earth. This date was calculated as December 21st, 2012, which caused a lot of excitement and fear leading up to the day that many assumed could be the apocalypse.

While this prophecy failed, Erich von Däniken says that this date was calculated based on the Judeo-Christian calendar related to Christianity. The birth of Christ. Däniken says that there are, more or less, 20 years around the day that we think Christ was born, distorting our prediction of the return of Quetzalcoatl. We still have 15 years to see whether the Mayan prediction will come true.

In a tomb at Palenque, there is a carving of the second of the last Mayan rulers, Pakal. He was found appearing to control an upward-facing machine with flames and smoke shooting out the back. While archeologists have claimed that this carving represented the tree of life or a descent into the underworld, two leading Mayan epigraphers have stated that the inscriptions around the tomb detail an ascent into the cosmos.

The remains of this ancient ruler were found inside a sarcophagus, though the body was significantly taller than the average height of the ancient Mayans and appeared to have an unusual bone structure.

Alien Proof

According to the Daily Express, Dr Edson Vivanco, who is part of the team that made the discovery, said the bodies found in Peru are of extraterrestrial origin. One set of DNA test results found the remains were 100% human, while others were inconclusive. Vivanco’s interview and statements were documented by British ufologist Steve Meera, who traveled to Peru.

Dr Vivanco said: “They invited me to join the investigation to give my medical opinion and determine if the pieces we studied were real or a fraud. “There are lots of details that indicate that the bodies are real.” To recreate a skull with these characteristics is a challenging task.”For example, regarding the internal structure of the skull. “On first impression, I found it odd to examine a three-fingered hand with five phalanges (finger segments) present on each finger.

” Daily Express reported. X-rays of the hand released by the team were examined by independent scientists as well, who concluded they were made using human finger bones from several hands. Dr Vivanco added: “Just three fingers with five phalanges. That caught our attention, and we decided to continue investigating to determine if this was real or fake.”I think it’s essential to investigate this regardless of the outcome.”A few doctors already gave their opinion on it without any study, saying the bodies are assembled even though they didn’t have access to them.”We will be the first to speak and report it if it is a fake. Right now, we are studying the evidence.”So far, we haven’t found anything to say that it is a fraud or that the bodies have been modified or altered in any way.

Their continued mystery of the inexplicable discoveries regarding the ancient Mayans inspires curiosity. It fuels the idea that ancient alien gods may have visited them. The pyramids at Tikal are another anomaly that adds to the intrigue in that they are more than 40 kilometers from a body of water. Usually, ancient civilizations would build cities on or near significant water sources. However, Tikal potentially hosted close to 100,000 citizens without one. This means that the citizens would have gathered water from rainfall and stored it in reservoirs, but why would they build a massive city in such an inconvenient location?

Von Däniken points to one of the glyphs on a stepped pyramid where an inscription claims it was a spot where the ancient gods visited from the heavens. These pyramids were impressively built throughout the Mayan empire, with 60 found at Tikal alone. The more well-known Mayan pyramids, including the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Temple of the Sun, and the Temple of the Moon, are found at Teotihuacan. These pyramids align with the three stars in the belt of the constellation of Orion, just like the pyramids at Giza.
