The Media's Encroachment on Fan Culture
I’ve been engaged in fandom spaces for about a decade. Now, most of that comes from being raised without Internet restrictions which made getting involved in fan culture much easier. Even in early middle school I was consumed by cosplay music videos and character quizzes on Quotev. Above all else, the part about fandom culture that really caught my attention was fanfiction.

The World Cup is What the US Needs
Let it be known, I know very little about soccer. My primary source of knowledge comes from my younger brother who plays travel soccer. That’s the start and end. But much like how the world is enraptured by sports when the Olympics happen, I’ve found myself captivated by the World Cup.

Gargoyles: Demona is her own worst enemy
Back in the day, there was a show on the so-called Disney Channel called “Gargoyles.” Does anyone remember that show? I loved it. I love the design of the Gargoyles, and I loved what they stood for: they were protectors, guardians, and, for once, the good guys. Except for one bad bitch: I speak of course of Demona.

The Spider-Men I Were (By a Former Cosplayer)
Near the end of November 2018, a package arrived to me, and it was a costume that I would try on for the first time. Once I tried it on and took pictures with me wearing it, I was automatically hooked. That costume was my first Spider-Man suit. It's worth noting that this was around the time when Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was about to be released in theaters. The aforementioned suit will be on the list I'll highlight in this story. I'll share some of my favorite Spider-Man suits I loved the most. These entries aren't in any particular order. Let me know which suit is your favorite in the comments below.
