Silver the Hedgehog is finally getting his own game.

If you are a Silver the Hedgehog fan like myself, then get ready to make some noise because our future is getting its own game! I came across this exciting news when I came across TikTok content creator ChristianDunson48 (will include his link), who talks about the project in development.

Yes, that’s right, after his debut in Sonic 06, and waiting 20 years, Silver is getting his own game called Project Silver, but not by Sega. Instead, we owe our thanks to the creator, Silver Roxas, and his team (here is a screenshot of the project director and where to find him on his socia medial platforms) and below Olive Engine.

You can check out the video showing the game in its prototype stage. All I can say is it looks amazing, the detail is off the wall, and I am excited to see it when it's released. From what I hear, the game will have a mix of

Project 06’, Sonic Frontier, and a bit of the boost games. So, we can definitely be sure there will be Speed, Platforming, Combat, Open world, and Traversal.

I want to point out that the story is different from what we played 20 years ago. Yes, it is in Silver’s future time, but the threat isn’t Iblis, Mephlis the dark, or Solaris; instead, it is Sage. According to Silver Roxas, the Project Director, he reveals the story behind the game.

Quote “Silver, returning to the future, finds it immediately in disarray, a dystopian new empire ruled by Sage. Before he can return to the past to prevent this awful future, Sage manages to block his abilities and lock him in this new dystopian future. So, now Silver must find a way to take the fight to Sage and defeat her in this future to then be able to save the past to prevent the global war that led to her conquest.” Unquote.

Wow, so I guess Eggman isn’t the real threat anymore, which reminds me of a line Silver said to Sage in the rival dialog in the game Sonic Racing: Crossworlds.

Silver says, "There is no Eggman in my time." This is your chance to change your ways and become a force for good.

Sage says: Your observation means I must work harder to ensure my father’s vision becomes a reality.

Could this conversation between the two be what causes the Global world to prompt Sage to take over? Who knows, but one thing is certain: Silver will still be able to use his powers and show his enemies not to mess with our favorite time-traveling hedgehog.

There are two things that caught my attention that I want to point out. Silver looks like he is wearing a cloak. I thought it was a cape like Superman's, but I like this idea because his white fur makes him stand out in the desert. And the cloak helps him blend in, but then you could just suggest that he covers his fur in dirt. The thing is, hedgehogs are like cats; they like to keep their fur clean, so they are constantly grooming themselves. And with water being so scarce, keeping clean would be a challenge for Silver because imagine having to choose to drink the water or use it to clean yourself.

Anyway, back to the two things I was mentioning: the second is that his hand looks like it has a blue sword coming out of his wrist.

But it is actually his telekinetic powers in the shape of a blade to help him fight his enemies.

Keep fighting strong, Silver, for a brighter world where you belong, and keep dreaming clear, the future is safe cause you are here, guardian and protector of the future.
