Best Player Review
This review comes from my Letterboxd profile, where I review every single movie I watch. Honestly, at this point, I'm having a lot of trouble being able to give anybody the benefit of the doubt here. I just finished my iCarly marathon earlier today (the day I wrote this review), and it was great. When I finished that marathon, I just scrolled through again to see what else there was and I saw Best Player, a movie I haven't seen in years and wanted to at least see one more time to get my thoughts on it. I really tried to at least give this movie another chance and try and see the positives in here, but honestly, there really aren't that many. The actors are trying their best and the direction is polished, but that's pretty much all I can say about this completely ridiculous and poorly thought-out film with an illogical script and poorly edited comedic timing.

An Adventure in Space and Time Review
This review comes from my Letterboxd profile, where I review every film I watch. I remember when I watched this film for the first time at a time when I was absolutely obsessed with Doctor Who. I adored this film and put it as one of my favorite films of all time. After watching it again now, it no longer falls in the top 10 or even necessarily in my favorite films, but I still think this is a really darn good TV movie, especially for Doctor Who fans. There's a lot to like about this movie, but there's also a lot that feels like already seen territory, so let's talk about all of that.

My Review of "Young Rock: Season 1"
Young Rock is a semi fictional and semi-non-fictional tale of the Rock, Dwayne Johnson. It's a new TV series that came out on NBC in 2021. It has a lot of elements that remind me of the writing from "Fresh off the Boat." Since I liked Fresh off the Boat you can probably tell that I really enjoyed this season.

My Review of "Kenan: Season one"
Kenan is a brand new 2021 comedy series that came out on NBC. You may already know Kenan Thompson of Saturday Night Live fame. He's also had a pretty extensive resume of comedic movies and TV shows before that. Now he's venturing off to do sitcoms.

My Review of "Sweet Tooth"
Sweet Tooth is a pretty high production valued TV series. It was recently released on 2021 on Netflix. There's much talks about this TV series because of the people behind the scenes but that doesn't always make a great TV series. I see a lot of potential in this TV series but I don't think you should watch it until the second season has been completed and I'll tell you why.

The Midnight Sky Review
This review comes from my Letterboxd profile, where I review every movie I watch. You know what, looking at all of the reviews for this movie, I honestly expected it to be liked a lot more than it is. I gotta be honest, this film is probably more of a three-star movie narratively than a four-star one. The green screen is laughably noticeable at times, the narrative is pretty predictable when you really start to think about it, and there are definitely some intricacies between the character interactions that are kind of glossed over here. However, I honestly have to say that I really didn't hate a single choice that this film made, and I even thought quite a few of the choices it made were fantastic. I absolutely adored the exploration of this dystopian universe, seeing the different technology that exists during this time and how it so naturally integrates into the character's lives. I frankly think the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous, and the atmosphere of this movie is really palpable throughout -- you can feel the cold of the poles and the peace of the night sky as it envelops itself around you, and I just adored that feeling.

My Review of "Boss Level"
Boss Level is a 2021 bigger budget movie that was exclusive to Hulu for a while. The problem is that you can't get Hulu in Canada so I had to wait for quite some time before it landed on the Amazon Prime streaming app. I have to admit I was pretty excited to watch it because the trailers made it seem pretty much like a cross between Deadpool and Edge of Tomorrow. Two movies that I really enjoyed. For the most part that is but I only consider this a pretty good movie, here's why.
