Villainess Review: Jenna Scott (Law & Order: SVU)
For as long as I can remember, Law & Order: SVU has featured some of the most wild, deep, and gripping cases--some of which have been borrowed from the actual news stories. The show's been on NBC since 1999, one of the longest running episodic shows on TV, and in the near quarter-century that the show's been on, it has not only featured some gripping stories, we have seen some sinister and very dark villainesses as well. The latest episode, "The Presence of Absence," ended up continuing that long trend.

Reviewing the Anticipated (and Twist-Filled) "Wolf Pack" Season Finale
A few days have passed since Paramount+ released the highly anticipated season finale of Wolf Pack, yet I still find myself drinking things in. This was a great Thursday jam for me; one of three along with Peacock shows Poker Face and Bel-Air. I spent eight Wednesdays being excited because once midnight hits in the West Coast, it's time for Wolf Pack, and this was such an amazing show and a terrific opening season, which featured a thrilling finale.

Villainess Review: Eve Michaels (The Threat Next Door). Top Story - March 2023.
Tubi strikes gold yet again, and they did so under my nose. I've spent the last few months looking at the upcoming Tubi Originals release list, but I didn't see this film listed, The Threat Next Door. I didn't even know about it until hours before writing this review, but I definitely watched, and it was quite amazing. Before I start getting ahead of myself, let's set the stage in a proper manner.

Villainess Review: Sarah Davis (Picture Perfect Mysteries)
It really kills me that a lot of Hallmark's mystery film series are kaput, and one series I really enjoyed was Picture Perfect Mysteries. The main reason was because the central stars are married in real life; the leading lady was Alexa PenaVega, who played main protagonist Allie Adams, a professional photographer, while the lead detective, Sam Acosta, was played by Alexa's real-life husband, Carlos PenaVega. Also, I've been a fan of Alexa since the Spy Kids films, so that definitely played a role as well.

Wolf Pack Review: "Lion's Breath"
Hard to believe that we are almost at the end of this inaugural season, and I'm referring to it as such with hopes that we will get a second season. As a devout optimist, I'd like to believe that we should see a second season of this amazing show, but it all depends on how this season ends, as well as the responses to the finale. But that's next week. The focus is Episode 7, which kicks off with Baron suddenly appearing to Everett, who attempted to get through to the timid, yet dangerous, werewolf. Baron states that he's not in control; someone's pulling the strings. That's one. I'll explain later.

Reviewing the Conclusion of the Red Death Arc
So here it is. We have arrived at what seems like the conclusion of the amazing Red Death arc that started with the ninth and final season premiere, where the villainous speedster briefly appeared in the final moments of that episode. After another mysterious appearance in the second episode, the third episode ends with Red Death being revealed as an evil doppelganger of Ryan Wilder, aka Batwoman, a fact that was actually revealed months before the final season began. The previous episode saw Evil Ryan attempt to manipulate Iris into going with her into her Earth, after claiming that her version of The Flash destroyed her world and attempted to stop her from saving it.

Villainess Review: Valeria Brant (Deadly Estate)
When I learned about this film hitting Tubi, I was excited. When I saw the cast and saw who was in it, I was even more excited. I have my reasons. You will see as I continue. So Tubi continued hitting it out of the proverbial park with Deadly Estate, which centers on a lavish hotel known as The Magnate, and its manager, Zakiya Carter, who is encountered by wealthy hotel owner Ron Brant. Ron is accompanied by his new wife, Valeria, as he is set to purchase The Magnate. As for Valeria, she's beaming over her new marriage, but as we see, there's problems in the wind.

Wolf Pack Review: "After Party"
We are now in the home stretch of Wolf Pack's first season, and it took me the entire week to come down for the high I was on from Episode 5's big ending. Sure enough, Episode 6 literally picks up where the last episode ended: with the werewolf still at the party. All of the teens are in the house scared out of their minds, while Adrian is loudly dismissing any and all claims that are the opposite of what's really out there. Everett, under Luna's urging, starts to tell what's out there, with Adrian pleading with him to do so. However, Everett states that it's a bear out there, and that drove Adrian up the wall.

Red Death Review: "The Mask of the Red Death" (Part 1)
At long last, we are at the most vital part of The Flash's Red Death saga after weeks of anticipation, excitement, and impatience. OK, all three of those words describe me. Even so, this angle has been quite intriguing and epic, and it reached new levels in Week 3, which ended with the Red Death unveiled and unmasked as Ryan Wilder--well, her alternate doppelganger. As I've been doing ever since the show's ninth and final season began, I've spent the last week eagerly awaiting the latest chapter, and lo and behold, here it is.

Reviewing a Hat Trick of Villainesses from the Season Finale of "Alert: Missing Persons Unit"
School House Rock said it best: three is a magic number. On the night that Alert: Missing Persons Unit's season finale aired, I watched the Colorado Avalanche (the three-time Stanley Cup Champions) win 3-0 over the Vegas Golden Knights. That aforementioned episode delivered with not one, not two, but three villainesses in the two-hour double episode event. It was quite thrilling from beginning to end, and here's what occurred.

Reviewing a Pair of Criminal Villainesses from "Newlywed Nightmare"
This February has been quite fruitful when it comes to Lifetime villainesses, and the final weekend of the month delivers once again with this film, Newlywed Nightmare. Originally titled, Escape From Love, the film centers on newlyweds Lauren and David Hasen; happily enjoying their first moments as husband and wife, but all of that comes to a halt when Lauren is suddenly abducted. A mysterious man takes her in broad daylight, and when we next see Lauren, she is held captive by a group of men, while one woman slowly walks towards her.

Wolf Pack Review: "Incendiary"
Ooh boy! I've had a lot of excitement on TV in so little time! After watching the latest episode of The Flash, I tuned in to the final moments of the Blackhawks/Stars game, and almost saw a game-tying buzzer-beater from Dallas. A couple of hours later, I went to Paramount+ to watch the latest episode of Wolf Pack, because it's Episode 5, kicking off the second half of the season. I had been waiting for this; Episode 4 began the twists and turns for this season, and I figured that Episode 5 would continue to deliver.
