Villainess Review: Allison (Her Deadly Reflections)
I really enjoyed 2020's Deadly Resolutions films from Lifetime; it was an impressive batch of movies. Among the group was Her Deadly Reflections, which was also known as Shattered Memories, and the alternate title was fitting, as it centered on memory loss. The unfortunate recipient was Kelly Moore, an art gallery owner who kicks off the film by being shoved though her upstairs bedroom window before ending up in a car accident. Kelly survives it all and is hospitalized, and she is visited by the three people closest to her: Kelly's husband Dan Moore, her best friend/employee Allison, and Allison's husband Logan.

Let's Talk about "The Batman"
Spring has sprung and so has another Batman film… over the decades many newer versions of older stories have been recreated and honestly, made better with today’s special effects technology but is that to say that the newest version of any remake is better? Absolutely not… and The Batman is no different. The Batman released only earlier this month in theatres stars Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, and to my surprise, Andy Serkis as Alfred! Directed by Matt Reeves who is known for the latest renditions of Planet of the Apes and the Cloverfield collection, The Batman definitely has the action scenes and grand cinematic-ish shots you may be familiar with, but I personally wouldn’t go so far as to say The Batman is better than his Planet of the Apes trilogy or Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, and here’s why…
Review of 'Stream this Next'
I've been saying at least since 2015 that streaming -- in particular the capacity it gives viewers to watch as much of a television series as they like, at one time, as if they were reading a book -- constitutes a third golden age of television (the first being what TV broadcast networks began to bring us in the 1950s, the second being the cable revolution which I take as beginning with The Sopranos on HBO in 1999). Indeed, I watch a huge amount of television -- I find it quite good for my brain -- and I'd estimate more than 80% of the dramas and comedies I watch are via streaming (all the live news I watch is on cable -- mostly MSNBC, with a little CNN, in case you'd like to know).
Paul LevinsonPublished 2 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2"
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has recently come out. If you already saw the original Sonic the Hedgehog then you pretty much know what you're getting yourself into with this sequel. Still you probably have some apprehensions from watching this movie because it's a movie sequel to a popular video game franchise. Hollywood has had a bad reputation for churning out bad movie adaptations. How are they going to catch lighting in a bottle twice in a row?
Brian AnonymousPublished 2 years ago in GeeksHallmark Review: 'Fashionably Yours'
Synopsis: For three years, Lauren Miller (Kat Graham) has worked at the Seattle-based magazine Seamless, organizing fashion collections while working towards following in her magazine editor grandmother's footsteps. But after once again getting passed over for promotion, Lauren takes it as a sign that it's time for her to return home. To help her with the move, her former boss offers the services of her professional mover cousin Rob Peterson (Kendrick Sampson). Having had an awkward encounter with him right before she decided to leave Seamless, Lauren and Rob initially don't gel. That is until they strike a deal: in exchange for Lauren's organizational help with his moves, Rob will introduce Lauren to the best parts of Seattle before she leaves the city behind. But the arrangement might just show Lauren that there's a place for her in Seattle after all.

Majique MiMiPublished 2 years ago in GeeksReview of 'The Library of the Dead'
Part mystery, part dystopic thriller, and part magical academia with a lot of heart. This read is a delight! It’s the perfect type of contemporary fantasy mash-up with just the right amount of supernatural and horror elements to keep you up at night. But it’s Ropa, our precocious narrator and resident ghostalker, who instantly becomes indelible by the end of the first page. Wise and seasoned beyond her years, as formed by modern Scotland as she is by her ancestral home of Zimbabwe, Ropa is tossed into a world of danger, magic, and dark discovery. We can’t wait for the next installment!

Doctor Who: Circular Time Review
In 2007, Big Finish launched a new recurring format for the Monthly Adventures. Every year, there would be a release that, instead of featuring one 4-part story, would feature four 1-part stories, often centred around a theme or central idea, and these releases ended up becoming some of the best examples in the Monthly Adventures of creativity and using the short-form format to tell Doctor Who stories out of the norm. The first of these was "Circular Time": four stories centred around the seasons and the relationship between the Doctor and Nyssa. It remains to this day one of the most well-regarded anthology collections, and one of my personal favourites, due to doing some very unexpected things with the Doctor Who format.

Fearless: It's only appropriate to start this list with a film whose title could easily describe those in Ukraine fighting to protect their country. The word is also used by Daniel (Wes McGee) to describe Margret Mason (Fionnula Flanagan), an aging former actress who meets Daniel as he's preparing to end his own life. Margret invites the man to her home for a chat, and an unlikely friendship begins. Fearless gets off to a slow but steady start that segues into a charmingly poignant story. While Margret and Daniel meet by complete chance, they quickly forge a bond as it becomes clear they have quite a bit in common.

Marielle SabbagPublished 2 years ago in GeeksFree Guy: I Wasn't Expecting To Get Punched In The Heart
Free Guy is exactly what I need in a movie these days: funny, light, and warm. A combination of age and crumbling society has resulted in tender, finnicky nerves that make finding a show or movie to watch an ordeal. I can't deal with dark or gritty movies, I find romance/romcoms more than tired, and even horror movies- my favorite genre- can sometimes fail to grasp my attention.

Moonknight
After being very pleasantly surprised by the first episode of Moonknight I was very much looking forward to how they were going to open this story up further. I think that so far they are doing a great job of balancing all of their story elements, here are my in-depth, as I watched thoughts on the second episode of Moonknight.
