Flintstones Vitamins: Yabba Dabba Doo they're good to chew!
Yabba dabba doo they're good to chew If you were a child or parent of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s you no doubt saw one or all of the various cartoon ads where Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble promoted vitamins for children. The duo initially began advertising One A Day vitamins but this evolved into Flintstones chewables.

The 20 Greatest Best Picture Winners of All-Time
In view of the upcoming 94th Academy Awards, I decided to compile a small list. Having officially watched every single film to take home the prestigious Best Picture award, here is what I deemed were the 20 best to ever win it. (I limited it to presenting my top 20 since to say a word on all 93 films would prove tedious, and I also opted not to include Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans which would assuredly have been in my top 5).

Recently I read a column on American Thinker about modern day commercials and how much they are trying to incorporate political correctness. I started to think about commercials of the past and how different they were back then.

An MCU movie releases and the rumours fly! We’ve heard two major things, 1) Tom is signed on for 3 more movies and immediately after that we heard 2) That Tom was stepping away from the role and taking a break. Now the more likely option is that he is in fact signed on for more movies, there is so much more that I would love to see from Tom’s spiderman and I think that No Way Home set him up perfectly for not only more character development but also bringing in more of the Spider-verse characters into the MCU. Tom has been pushing hard for either some of the Spider woman and/or Miles Morales, here's hoping that we see both!
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 2 years ago in GeeksWhat is Queerbaiting?
Queerbaiting is a marketing technique for fiction and entertainment in which creators hint at, but then do not actually depict, same-sex romance or other LGBT representation. There have been several franchises that have been accused of queerbaiting its audience by writing a pairing with romantic or sexual undertones and either not following it through or randomly pairing said characters in a heterosexual romance.
Casper the Friendly Ghost
Casper fans continue to love him Casper the Friendly Ghost originated at Famous Studios in a theatrical animated cartoon series of the same name. He is a kind, pleasant, personable ghost, who is often criticized by the Ghostly Trio who are his three wicked uncles. Casper is translucent and when people realize he is a ghost they run for their lives. He poses no threat and only desires to make friends. Adults fear him but children love him and often will play with him giving Casper the attention he is craving.

In many ways, 2021 was a frustrating year. Though vaccines and carefully applied restrictions reduced the fatalities caused by COVID 19, case numbers remained high throughout the year, with new variants causing several unpleasant spikes that led to considerable panic. Politics remained polarised - with the far-right populists who have dominated in recent years refusing to yield - and the “culture wars” over a variety of difficult and sensitive topics became uglier than ever. Freak weather events across the globe highlighted the extent of the Climate Crisis, and heavily hyped technological developments such as Space Voyages and Online NFT Auctions came to seen as wasteful extravagances out of tune with current concerns. However, there were several positives, particularly in the worlds of culture and entertainment. Fairytale adaptations (and other fairytale-inspired projects) had a very eventful 2021, with several releases gaining mainstream attention. There were both impressive highlights and frustrating lows, but after the COVID-induced relative inertia of 2020, this rollercoaster journey was certainly worth taking. For fairytale fans, these were the defining events of 2021:

10 Reasons Why Captain Marvel is the Only Captain That Matters
Captain Marvel is better than Captain America and most of the other Avengers; welcome to my TEDtalk. Like most people, I assume you want to fight my opinion. Maybe you think Captain Marvel isn't powerful. Maybe you hate Brie Larson. Maybe you're pissy because she's a female character.
Mae McCreeryPublished 2 years ago in GeeksThe Beatles: Get Back and the Magic of the Extended Blooper Reel
A few weeks ago, my boyfriend, noted hater of horror movies, remarked, "I think I'd find them more watchable if they included a blooper reel at the end." I found this to be an odd statement, but when I probed him on it, he said that the reason a blooper reel would de-horrify a horror movie is because it would “strip away the illusion.” Seeing actors fudge lines, trip over set pieces, and crack up laughing would make the polished, disturbing stuff seem less real. “But we don't need a blooper reel to know it's not real,” I told him. “We already know that.”

“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be, rather than being yourself.” These were the words declared by a one, Shannon L Alder. An inspirational author whose words give a biblical perspective have provided inspiration to many a person and words that I standby even to this date. The reason I stand by these words are because my interests and persuasions lean towards the geekier aspects of life. Things like anime, manga, superheroes and pretty much anything you'll find at a Comic con.
