The spreading of wings
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings". A quote once stated by the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. While he has never said it in the Generation One cartoon, it does appear on his bio on the toy counterpart. These words were also spoken by Optimus Primal (a Maximal leader) and his movie counterpart in the Michael Bay films. He says this quote (usually to Megatron (or any incarnation thereof)) when fighting for the rights for humans or his Autobot brethren against the Decepticons. When he speaks these words, he is essentially saying that everyone should be free to choose their own path and no one should be held against their will, or that of the will of others.

Morality and Mortality
"Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence." These were the last words from the Maximal hero, Dinobot. These words were spoken in The Beast Wars episode, Code of Hero. One of the, if not the most memorable of all the episodes in this beloved Transformers sequel series. For it dealt with a Maximal (originally Predacon) who had dealt with his inner demons about doing what the right thing. This quote also pertains to the hero of this story as well. Much like Dinobot in the Beast Wars series, our hero, Bolen, was originally aligned with a more heinous side.

“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be, rather than being yourself.” These were the words declared by a one, Shannon L Alder. An inspirational author whose words give a biblical perspective have provided inspiration to many a person and words that I standby even to this date. The reason I stand by these words are because my interests and persuasions lean towards the geekier aspects of life. Things like anime, manga, superheroes and pretty much anything you'll find at a Comic con.

The Midnight Hour
The moon is full as a cold crisp breeze wallows through the air. The leaves that were once abundant on the trees fall down gracefully like Olympic divers in a crystal clear pool. It's the time for ghouls, ghosts and a myriad of spooky and creepy creatures to run about. It's the time of year when howls in the wind send shivers down spines. Halloween is upon us. For some it involves door to door candy dressed up as princesses, cowboys and spacemen. For others, it's time to watch scary movies such as: The Shining, Child's Play and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Other still will want to dress proactively either hoping to score or just show off the goods.

My niece Hailey
"I have a really good relationship with my sister" was not always a sentence that I could say honestly. It's true that most siblings fight like ornery rams at some point in their lives. However, my sister Ophelia and I took it to another level. Between my autistic mind set and my sister's bipolar condition, we were constantly at each other's throats more times than not. Sometimes what we had fought over was trivial at best. At least they are now. At the time the things we fought about seemed really important at the time. Then again, all squabbles between siblings usually are. However, the day my niece was born, our relationship had changed for the better.

Beavers, termites and birds. What do all these animals have in common? Like us, they are all able to construct their own homes. Beavers live in dams made from twigs and mud. They can spand across several meters long and stand about 2 meters tall. Termites live in a structure which is composed of soil, termite saliva and dung. It can reach 1.5 meters tall and 10-20 meters in diameter across the base. All birds (with the except of cowbirds and most penguin species) are capable of making their own nest with grass, twigs, saliva and (on some occasion stone). They range anywhere from an inch in diameter (as in the case of hummingbirds) to almost 3 meter wide (as in the case of bald eagles).

21 in Vegas
What does one do when they turn 21 years of age? A question that is often asked, but almost never answered the same way. That answer truly depends entirely on the individual in question. Mainly because of the fact that we are all different people respectfully. Some people tend to be low key and just want to go out for a simple meal at their favorite restaurant. Some people are party animals and would prefer to go clubbing. Others still will tell you that they just want to go away for the weekend because they wanted to make memories. Although it was almost 10 years ago to the day, I remember mine to the last detail. I went to Las Vegas, Nevada for my 21st birthday. So, in a way, I have done all three of those things during that time.

Weekly Shonen Jump is a manga anthology that is published in Japan by Shueisha under the Jump line of magazines. This manga distribution stands as the best-selling manga magazine. Not only that, but it is one of the longest-running in the entirety of manga distribution. The first issue was released with a cover date of August 1, 1968 and still goes strong some 50 years later. For those of you that don't know, Shonen (or shounen) are comics (often referred to as manga in the east and by some people in the west) that originate in Japan that target towards male teens between the ages of 12 and 18.

A good person
Like many words, the terms good and bad are phrases that have been coined by the human race. Specifically however, they are adjectives. While adjectives usually have one meaning for their idioms, they have many forms of interpretation. For example, if you ask me what the tasty part of the cow is, I will be more than happy to tell you that the tastiest part of the bovine comes from the ribs. I say this because the marbling is evenly balanced and the meat you get from the ribs of a cow is bountiful to say the least.
