Movie Review: "Inherent Vice" (2014)
I am completely going to ignore how much I love Benicio Del Toro in this film. I mean, his acting is funny, he looks great and he is possibly the best actor there. That and Josh Brolin who is always awesome. The whole scene about 'kicking' Joaquin Phoenix was hilarious - especially the fact that very few actors could do it with a straight face. That scene is the only thing about this film that gets the 2 marks for the 2/5 with most of it going to the reply 'that's assault'.

Ranking Pixar Movies by Era
Alright y'all we have completed ranking Disney movies so I am moving on to Pixar. Most animation fans would agree that Pixar movies are the best of what Disney has to offer. Now Pixar movies aren’t really broken into eras like straight up Disney films are so I am going to break them into eras because I really do think that in each era you can see and feel a trend in these films and how they are broken up. My eras are going to be broken up by what feelings, or intentions I think each collection of movies give off. Also Pixar has really never stopped releasing films. Its largest gap in production was in between Toy Story and A Bug’s Life and that was a period of 3 years. Since then Pixar has steadily released films every year or every other year, even during COVID. So there was no logical time period to break these movies into.

Movie Review: "Asteroid City" (2023)
I watched Asteroid City whilst halfway across the country for a couple of days and after a long 5-hour train journey. It was nearly night and I had to admit that I thought I would fall asleep there and then in the cinema. This was not however, because the movie was boring but honeslty because I was really just exhausted of all the travelling. From my house to the station to the hotel to the cinema and then back again, my gosh it was a bit much. So forgive me if my Asteroid City (2023) review is a little bit on-the-nose.

Ranking Disney Movies By Era
The Revival Era of Disney includes all of the more current or modern Disney movies, though a clear era post these films has not been defined I’m going to keep clumping them in with this one. However for the purposes of this list we will only be talking about the 6 films that fall into this specific era. Much like the eras before it the ranking is kind of arbitrary, there are no bad movies only less good.

Bottoms - A Movie Review
We have to learn to defend ourselves if we want to fight back. After winning a fight, Bottoms aired in theaters in 2023. Two queer unpopular high school best friends, Josie and PJ, start a fight club in their school. Their original plan was to hook up with cheerleaders, but the club has more of a positive influence than they predicted.

Classic Movie Review: "Amadeus" (1984)
I am one of those people that has to admit how many times I have seen this film. It may not be in my top 10, probably not even in my top 20, but that does not mean it is no good. In fact, this film is probably one of the best of its decade. Amadeus (1984) tells the story (whether the story is true or not, who knows?) of the possible assassination of Mozart. With Miloš Forman of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as the director and F.Murray Abraham leading the film as the jealous Salieri, this film really could not go wrong anywhere.

The Good, The Bad and The ugly of the David Gordon Green Halloween trilogy
Ends talk The original Halloween film is considered a masterpiece. It is literally this author's favorite film/ horror film of all time. The music and cinematography were superb, and Michael's aesthetic and presence was absolutely terrifying and that breathing sound he made was straight up terrifying.

Coherence - A Movie Review
Nothing strange like this happened the last time we got together. Released in 2013, Coherence is about a group of friends who gather for a dinner party on the same night a comet passes by Earth. Interrupting their evening, strange occurrences happen, such as power outages and mysterious objects appearing. With tensions rising, they realize they may be in a parallel universe.
