Saltburn
For those of you who have lived under a rock the last few weeks it seem and have not heard of the movie Saltburn. It is the latest craze of a movie available on Amazon Prime. A bit of a description of the movie without spoiling anything for anyone, it is the story of Oliver Quick at Oxford University when he finds himself drawn into the world of the charming Felix Catton, who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.

Oscar Nominations
Okay so we have been over what I would like to happen as these Oscar nominations are announced. But now we have decided to go a more realistic route. This is my list for what I think the academy is actually going to nominate. Now I may not round out every category but this is a general idea of the movies that the academy will highlight (whether deserved or not).

We will then do a separate article for what I think will actually happen in the upcoming Oscar nominations. And then of course we will cover the actual nominations. But here and now we are focusing on what movies I would like to be nominated in each of the important categories.

Interview with the Vampire (1994)
Introduction From: IMDB One of my all-time favourite novels is Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. I remember pre-ordering every single one of her books after Blood Canticle and honestly, the movie to Interview with the Vampire is much better than the film to Queen of the Damned in my opinion. Starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Stephen Rea, Kirsten Dunst and Christian Slater - this film is an excellent example of the modern gothic blended with the cool-fragrant feel of the older state of the USA. As time moves along, we witness the story of Louis, a man turned into a vampire by the Brat Prince Lestat as he states that he has not been human for two hundred years.

Actors who portrayed Willy Wonka
These were actors who played the role of a man who fulfilled our world of pure imagination or should I say Roald Dahl's creation. Started as a best-selling novel to film adaptations to a Broadway musical adaptation. These actors played the charming, gentle, and funny chocolatier Willy Wonka.

Rebel Moon Part One: A Dumpster of Fire
**SPOILERS** Oh, Zack Snyder...you and your ‘this isn’t Star Wars meets Seventh Samurai’ scheme, what did you do to us? I tried, I really did. The first fifteen minutes or so I thought we had something going on but quickly it all felt painfully familiar with themes and characters we’ve all seen before. We’ve got the evil Motherworld which is basically the Empire who have depleted their own world of resources and are in search of a planet that can make them sandwiches. One of the first images of them is their cylindrical ship leaaving what can only be describes as large space vagina. You be the judge. They find food makers in the village of the planet Veldt (It's not Tatouine) populated by a handful of farmers who proudly work their land and are home to our main protagonist Kora (Sofia Boutella). She is a brooding, isolated twenty-something with an attitude and with that well worn stereotype introduced we now know how this is all going to play out character wise for her. And yep, turns out she’s an elite trained soldier who escaped the Motherworld after their king, queen and their magical princess daughter Issa were assassinated. Issa could apparently bring dead things back to life (not using the Force) and was heralded as a messiah to her people. Well, she’s DEAD now viewers, don’t you feel angry? Well you SHOULD because Zack TOLD us so through three minutes of TOUCHING exposition. Does this play into the narrative? Does this motivate Kora for revenge? Nope. I don’t think it’s even mentioned again. So why bloody introduce us to it in the first place if it doesn’t advance the story? Well, viewers don’t ask questions, just suck it up and move on.
