Madame Web
Okay so by now most people have seen the trailer for the new Madame Web movie. And I have heard mixed things, some people are really excited for it (the only correct answer) and some people are asking why it even exists. Well I’m just gonna say that there are 1000 bad superhero movies focused on men, we deserve some mediocre filmmaking too. Without worrying that this is the last representation we are ever gonna get. ALSO there are so many amazing women in the Spiderverse and they deserve some attention. But most casual viewers don’t know why it's being made because they have no idea who Madame Web is. And that's fair so here is your background into Madame Web and the other wonderful women that are making an appearance in this movie.

Saltburn
Okay so the internet is full of mixed reviews about Saltburn. On the one hand we have people who can’t stop raving about how awesome and brilliant it is. And on the other we have people who are saying that it is the most depraved and insane thing that they have ever seen. Now I was interested in this movie from the second I saw the trailer so we are going to go ahead and see which side is correct, or if we land somewhere in the middle. I couldn’t in good conscience put out my ranking list for the films of 2023 without watching this movie so here we go with my review of Saltburn.

There Will Be Blood (2007)
Introduction From: Miramax From The Guardian to random lists online like mine, There Will Be Blood (2007) is more than often referred to as the greatest film of the 21st century. It's something that is very difficult to argue with as it has all of the charisma of Citizen Kane (1941) without any of the pretentions, it has all the character and machiavellianism of The Godfather and is pretty much right up there with it and finally, it has all the atmosphere of an Western without actually being a Western, thank god. There Will Be Blood (2007) is a 21st century testament to great filmmaking.

The Color Purple (2023) - A Movie Review
The more I wonder, the more I love. The Color Purple is a 2023 musical based on the best-selling classic novel written by Alice Walker. Celie is an African American woman in the early 20th century who navigates through abuse and ultimately finds her voice with the help of bonds of sisterhood.

Why Villains are Heroes' Yang to their Ying
The dynamic interplay between heroes and villains, each serving as the polar opposite of the other, is a narrative archetype deeply rooted in storytelling across cultures and epochs. This dichotomy is fundamental to the structure and depth of narratives, providing a rich landscape for the exploration of moral, philosophical, and psychological themes. Heroes and villains are not merely characters within a story; they represent archetypal forces in a perpetual struggle, embodying opposing facets of the human experience.

Generation Names
Whoever came up with the categorization and labeling of contemporary generations was a Boomer. Why do I say so? First, they only gave names to the generations of the 20th century, as if people didn’t exist before or as if every new century must start from scratch with their own new names. The first named generation (born before 1900) was completely Lost on them (a lot of its males were also lost in WWI).

Best of Psych
Psych remains one of the best crime serials as well as one of the best television shows ever written. It stays consistent in tone, writing style and quality from episode 1 to the series finale. The show also remains underrated and underappreciated so I’ve decided to make a list of what I feel are the best episodes of the long running TV series.
