Jane Foster's Thor
With the newest Thor movie being released soon I think it's important to shed some light on Jane Foster’s Thor. Now there are some internet fanboys who have a fundamental problem with Jane taking the mantle, but those children are wrong. Many people that aren’t the actual God of Thunder have taken the hammer and therefore wielded his power.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 2 years ago in GeeksAlexander The Great Movie Review
It is surprising that a historical character as huge as Alexander the Great has only been made into a film a couple of times, although it is true that the last one was about to be accompanied by a kind of competitor, almost in a duel. I am referring to Oliver Stone 's Alexander , the one starring Colin Farrell with Angelina Jolie as Olympia and Val Kilmer as Philip, which when it was released in 2003 did so under the pressure of a very similar project being prepared by Baz Lührman , a very successful director by then (now it seems to have disappeared) thanks to its peculiar version of Romeo and Juliet and, above all, the no less strange Moulin Rouge .
Dark SecretsPublished 2 years ago in GeeksBook vs Movie: A Clockwork Orange
The first time read A Clockwork Orange was quite a few years ago. I'm not sure where my copy is and don't remember which version it is. This time around I had a library ebook, the complete original version of the novel. Until reading the introduction, I hadn't even realized there were different versions. Apparently, the American publisher decided not to include the final chapter when it was first published. This is the version the film was based on. It seems like a minor difference, but it does change the character arc of the protagonist Alex.
Alexis M. CollazoPublished 2 years ago in GeeksMovie Review: 'Clara Sola' is Strange and Fascinating
Clara Sola is a bold, strange and mysterious movie about faith, sexuality, and the senses. It’s the story of a childlike woman of about 40 years old who may or may not be a healer. The woman’s mother believes that her daughter is the living embodiment of the Virgin Mary but the woman, Clara, would prefer to live a normal life, one unencumbered by her mother’s expectations and the requirements of a virgin healer/savior.

More than forty years after its 1978 release, Grease continues to be popular with a worldwide audience. However, viewers are beginning to open up their eyes to the parts of this classic film that haven't aged well. In recent years, Grease has been widely admonished for its sexism, homophobia, and misogyny.

With the arrival of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on Disney Plus, many fans are rewatching the film. While some watch just for enjoyment, many have other goals in mind on repeat viewings, such as going through scenes with a fine-tooth comb to pick up Easter eggs they may have missed out on the first time around, or gathering new evidence for their latest theory.

Zuvin MaharzanPublished 2 years ago in GeeksMarvel Cinematic Universe: Life after the Endgame.
It's been three years since Avengers: Endgame hit theaters and not only became the biggest Marvel film of all time, but the highest grossing film ever. It's not hard to understand why Endgame became the film ever, it's conception was over a decade in the making. Avengers: Endgame marked the end of the first generation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and though Marvel had great success with Spiderman: Far From Home just a mere month's time later, the impact of the eventual 2020 Pandemic would make it nearly 2 years before the MCU would grace the world with its net release.

Trevor WellsPublished 2 years ago in GeeksReview of the film"BATMAN" (2022)
👀A caricature-like, moody feel Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy has achieved such legendary status that it's often hard to see Batman in a new light. Heath Ledger as the Joker is, of course, partly responsible for this.
The Forgotten Star of Top Gun
Kelly McGillis was much too tall for Tom Cruise. She was 5'11". He was 5'7". Besides, she was 27 and he was 24 and the difference was palpable. After I saw them together for a “chemistry meeting” on the Paramount lot, I walked away conclusively uttering, “She looks like his mother.”
