Doctor Who Is A Lie!. Top Story - July 2026.
How dare they! I have been following this series since I was a young GenXer in the early 80s (the sweet spot for true fans of the shows), and discovered the adventures of the Time Lord and his companions stopping at various sites and spots, solving disasters and rescuing people, aliens and civilizations that often deserved their uninterrupted fate. That might sound cynical, but it does not take a genius to understand that there is an obvious pattern of the shows that no longer really works.

Disclosure Day Movie Review
For more than fifty years, Steven Spielberg has been one of the biggest names in the movie-making business. The director has also maintained his fascination with extra-terrestrial life, putting out E.T, Close Encounters and War of the Worlds through the decades. He returns to the subject of alien visitors with Disclosure Day, an intriguing but ultimately ineffective outing.

Does Everything Need A Movie Adaptation?
It seems like every year, every season at this point, there’s a new movie adaptation. Sometimes it’s from a book, other times a game, but the fact of the matter is the stories aren’t really original. After all, it’s not like the writers or directors came up with the idea themselves. There’s plenty of creative liberty taken – see the How to Train Your Dragon movie versus the original books for example – but it still leaves me sighing in the end.

Paul Winchell the voice of Gargamel and Dick Dastardly had another major achievement
Paul Winchell was multifaceted I had noticed decades ago the similarities between the voices of cartoon characters Dick Dastardly , (Wacky Races, Dick Dastardly and Mutley Show) and Gargamel (The Smurfs). I now know there is a very good reason why. Both of these animated icons were originally voiced by Paul Winchell, (December 21, 1922-June 24, 2005).

Meanwhile, a new character will soon appear in Genoa City who should keep the action going. Three-time Daytime Emmy winner Jade Harlow will join the cast in the recurring role of Marie Kirkland.

Villainess Review: Alyssa James (Picture Perfect Sister-In-Law)
We are just over halfway into 2026, and this year has been an impressive one so far when it comes to Lifetime villainesses. I am still buzzing over seeing Jamie-Lynn Sigler as a demented villainess in The Man in the Window, and I think we will see a lot more amazing villainesses as the year progresses. I say that because of a long standing theory I've believed for about nine years now: the best villainesses from any platform (including and especially Lifetime) come during the home stretch and playoffs in any sport. And the next home stretch month is September, oh man!
