The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026): A Review
This past Saturday, I saw The Mandalorian and Grogu with my sister and dad at a sold-out show at Apple Cinemas in Merrimack, New Hampshire, and honestly? I walked away pleasantly surprised by how emotional, character-driven, and heartfelt the movie turned out to be.

Six 100-Word Movie Reviews
1. Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (2026) Director: BenDavid Grabinski, Actor: Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, Eiza Gonzalez I love time travel movies. I would have loved “Nick & Mike & Mike & Alice,” but by the middle half, the film loses its steam. Vince Vaughn (Nick) cleverly plays two versions of himself. James Mardsen (Mike) and Eiza Gonzalez (Alice) are also along for the adventure. Secondary characters, like Keith David, Jimmy Tatro, and Stephen Root, felt like such wasted talent. One can do a lot with time travel plotlines, but it’s evident that the writers ran out of ideas. The characters sit around having a full conversation about the series “Gilmore Girls,” which has nothing to do with the story.

History of The Three Stooges (Part IX: 25 Years and What Do You Get? - 1957-1959)
The Three Stooges entered the late 1950s with a looming question: who will be their third Stooge? On November 22, 1955, Shemp Howard tragically passed away at the age of 60, though before his passing, he filmed four shorts that were released in 1956. Following those posthumously released shorts, which served as Shemp's final films, Columbia Pictures filmed four final shorts with Joe Palma standing in for the late Shemp Howard, doing so to fulfill Shemp's two year deal. Those four shorts brought the Shemp Howard era to a final end, but the act wasn't done. A third Stooge was needed.

History of The Three Stooges (Part VIII: Two and a Half Stooges - 1955 & 1956)
With seven parts detailed in this series about The Three Stooges' history, I had realized that the eighth and last volume of The Three Stooges Collection is mega-sized. It actually contains two periods that each deserve their own section. So I've long decided that Volume Eight will be divided into two parts, and this story, Part VIII, places the Stooges into the mid-1950s, with the remakes still being rampant.

Gender-Flipped Villain Pitch: Yellow Pinkie & Hy Spy (Secret Squirrel)
It's been a while since I thought up a good Gender-Flipped Villain Pitch, and there are still quite a few good ones who need a feminine touch. This one is one I've been sitting on for a good bit, and this is a two-on-one piece that definitely needed to be addressed.
