Lifetime Review: 'Your Family or Your Life'
It started as such a normal day for doctor Kathy Meyer (Jennie Garth), heading into work after wishing goodbye to her husband David (Alexander Carroll) and teenage daughter April (Luca Bella, Garth's real-life daughter in her credited "Introducing" role). But fresh off a successful surgery, Kathy is approached by a pair of detectives with terrible news to give her: David was found dead at their house from what the police believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

All Might is the central pillar holding up My Hero Academia. But he has death flags all over him and I have some conflicted feelings about this. First of all let me clarify things. Fear not, All Might is not dead. He is still alive in well in the manga, but throughout the manga there have been numerous times where his death has been not so subtly foreshadowed.

There are more coming out than there are on this list... but I wanted to present to you these six because I believe they will make the most impact on Netflixers this month. Either way, be sure to check out The Man Without Gravity! It's number 4 on this list.

Trevor WellsPublished 5 years ago in GeeksWhat to Watch on Netflix
I know from experience that when I finish a show I don't know what to watch. So I find myself looking through Netflix trying to find something to watch and if I don't find something I usually go to one of my go-to shows to start watching. So if you find yourself in that situation here are some shows to watch, and I will give you a brief summary of what they are about.

Julie Murphy’s book, Dumplin’ has been on my reading list for quite some time. This is actually the second time that I have attempted to read this book. I am incredibly glad that I decided to give Dumplin’ another shot because it turned out to be an outstanding read. The first time that I sat down to read this book was towards the end of my time in college. My advisor (an all-around amazing woman and absolute guru on the perfect book suggestions) told me that I should give Dumplin’ a try. I don’t know why I doubted her, but for some reason I did, and I ended up giving the book back to her before I finished it—before I really even gave it a chance (I think I was only 50-60 pages in).

Lately, my mental health hasn't been great. The change in weather, a career stagnation, maybe both, but either way I'm not feeling great. Instead of wallowing in this, I've decided to examine media that I've consumed (and still do consume) in the context of my own feelings. A kind of media-analysis-as-therapy kind of way.
Amanda Seales Is My Guru
I wanted to start this blog with an introduction as to how I found this woman who is making a name for herself in Hollywood and who has have a huge impact in my life. I have typed and erased and typed some more but nothing was sticking to what I have in mind as to approach this writing ode to a star. Bringing me back to a time where I had written a letter to two of my favorite actresses at the time, I find myself nervous. I don't want to sound like I'm obsessed. Will she even read this? Why, Why, WHY!! Telling myself that this is no big deal. I am one of millions of fans who are in awe of the work that this woman has done and with her new book, she's a shooting star that I look up to. Insecurities envelops me as I try to figure out how to express to an unlikely person that they mean the world to me and that I truly view her as the "Oshun" of my time.

4 Questions We Need Answered in 'Stranger Things' Season 4
The third season of Stranger Things was one wild ride and probably the craziest adventure the series has taken audiences on so far. One would think it would be hard to top Demogorgons and giant monsters from another dimension. But the Netflix series outdid itself with a compelling narrative involving the Mind Flayers' unique return and a fun, 80s inspired Russian secret lab conspiracy beneath StarCourt Mall. Yup, the latest season was pretty crazy in how it unveiled many things about the Stranger Things Universe, notably that Russia knows about the Upside Down and have discovered many gateways into it. This leads to so much speculation on where the next season will take subscribers.
