Jumanji: The Next Level
I watched Jumanji: The Next Level for the first time yesterday. Holy sh*t, I admit I didn't think they'd top the first sequel. Sure, it was probably good but better, no.

Q-ell BettonPublished 4 years ago in GeeksBatman's 1st Year Body Count
Die-hard fans know of Batman's stringent no kill rule. Time and time again you will hear fans quick to mention this, when skeptics ask why doesn't Batman just kill the Joker. They are vocal with the films as well, when Batman kills under the likes of Tim Burton and Zack Snyder. Christopher Nolan reassures these same fans when Batman asserts that he will not take a life. However, Batman was not originally born with this moralistic view of not killing his enemies. Believe it or not, in his first year of publication of Year One as some Bat-fans may want to call it, he has something of a lucrative body count.
"Tiger King" | Netflix TV Review
After multiple friends and even my sister badgering me to watch this show I gave in and decided to binge watch the entire show. Of course with the current lock-down helped me binge watch the entire show in one sitting. Sat here writing this (the next day to be exact), I'm still trying to decide how I even truly feel about this bizarre documentary; but lets see what comes out of my head as I write this.
Joe HarrisPublished 4 years ago in GeeksStories are medicine
Even those who dislike William Shakespeare are tuning in to chill as Sir Patrick Stewart reads sonnets. Others sigh with relief to the gruff tones of Samuel L. Jackson reading "Stay the F*ck at Home." Every night I go live on Facebook to read life lesson fables from my books because I know that the benefit is a massive attitude adjustment, as much for me as for my audience.
Lisa SuhayPublished 4 years ago in GeeksMovie Review:'Bad Boys: For Life'
Good day, everyone! Hope you all had a safe and restful weekend with your family and loved ones. For today's post, I will be doing another review, which is called "Bad Boys: For Life". Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have finally returned for the trilogy of "Bad Boys". It's been 17 years since "Bad Boys 2" was released back in 2003. Now, "Bad Boys" has always been my all-time favorite "buddy-cop" films.

Mingzhu Ye (Rachel) has some heat attached to her. She wrote, directed and produced the comedy short film, Table For Four, which was an official selection in the 2019 LA Shorts International Film Festival—a festival that has all the qualifications of Academy Award, BAFTA and Canadian Screen Award. And the movie recently won an award in the 15 Minutes Of Fame Indie Film Festival in Florida and got another two nominations in the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival and DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival.

Near enough. And far enough. Just the right distance. During this Corona crisis, watching a movie was an impossible task for me. Let alone that I could write down a sensible word to form an opinion. But now three weeks later, the urge to watch a movie once again came back. And I could focus on the movie without my mind wandering off to some disaster scenarios. Apparently, my doom thinking disappeared. And hurray. Even the traditional formulation of an opinion was possible again. Only the choice of film was a bit unfortunate. “Vivarium” isn’t exactly a movie that’ll make you happy. It has many similarities with the situation people in the world are in today. Isolated and tied to one specific living space. No contact with others. And a feeling of powerlessness, fear, and despair. However, it’s not a deadly virus why Gemma (Imogen “Green Room” Poots) and Tom (Jesse “The Social Network” Eisenberg) are in this situation.
My Review of "The Battered Bastards of Baseball"
I have to admit that I don't know what took me so long to watch The Battered Bastards of Baseball. It came out back in 2014 exclusively on Netflix. When it first came out there were some intriguing trailers that made me interested in watching it. Luckily the Netflix used their great algorithms and highlighted it to me. I didn't know how much of a ride I was in for.
Brian AnonymousPublished 4 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band From Texas"
I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of ZZ Top but I do like a few of their songs. I wasn't sure if ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band From Texas was going to be a good documentary. I haven't really followed this band and the last songs I remembered hearing from them was from the 80's and 90's. There's a lot of time to waste nowadays and I was really happy that I took the chance and watched this documentary.

I think I speak for most of us when I say... I am losing my damn mind! This whole social distancing, self-quarantining, stay at home lifestyle is taking its toll on my sanity. I happen to be part of the population not laid off, but also not occupied by work (it's not exactly legal to take aquarium animals home with you during a pandemic) and thus I am part of the population that has found themselves at home with heaps of free time. And there's only so many crafts one can make or things one can clean before the mind starts to unravel. So I've been doing a lot of reading to stave off the boredom. It's great! I'm learning new things, being entertained and inspired, and when I get jittery I can walk laps around the downstairs without having to press pause.
