The 2000 Movie Project: 'The Big Tease' is the Most Forgotten Movie of the Year 2000
We are at the beginning of our exploration of film form in the year 2000 and it is likely too early to identify a particular trend, aside from bad movies, lots of bad movies early in this century, I’m looking at you Supernova and Next Friday. But if I were to force the discovery of a theme perhaps one that stands out is fumbling attempts at experimenting with film form. In Next Friday, that meant employing some of the most awkward fourth wall breaking voiceover I think I’ve ever experienced.

About seven years ago, Harry Potter was my world. I was a proud Hufflepuff who couldn't get enough of the magical fantasy. I read all the books, binged the films and video games and visited the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Leavesden four times. I obsessed over Rowling's characters, collected every bit of merchandise I could find and even got a quote from the sixth book tattooed on my back!

Cheryl E PrestonPublished 4 years ago in Geeks7 Veteran Nollywood Actresses and Where They Are Now.
What happened to these actresses? Nostalgia is such a great feeling. A universal feeling. We all like to watch something or see a picture and be reminded of the exact moment in our lives when we first saw that thing. Till today, there are so many scenes and quick shots from movies that I watched at a very young age that are randomly engraved in my mind.

Somali and the Forest Spirit is an anime that is based on the web manga of the same name, that is still ongoing. The show is set in a fantastical world where humans and fantastical beings coexist, however there is one major difference between this world and many other fantasy shows. The human race has been driven to the brink of extinction as a result of their behaviour towards the rest of the species that inhabit the world with them. Somali is a young girl that is found by a forest spirit, a Golem, and they are on a journey to find her parents.
Get your cuppa, we are going British tonight
Okay, I admit it. I started binge-watching British TV shows since I had to cancel my London trip thanks to COVID-19. Nevertheless, I am pleased to introduce these gems that you might have missed so far. So, come on, love. They are bloody funny!
Hajeong SongPublished 4 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "A River Runs Through It"
A River Runs Through It isn't the typical movie that I like watching. It's a period piece talking about how fishing can bring back a relationship between separated siblings. The explanation seems really dry but there's really a lot more to this movie than that. It isn't really a good description to get someone like me to watch this movie. What can I say? I'm a victim of the era I live in.
Brian AnonymousPublished 4 years ago in GeeksWhy "Dead to Me" is worth your time
A show I started because I was bored and I thought, "why the hell not?" What I got was an incredible show, full of humour, characters that are three dimensional, and excellent twists.
