Lunch with an Incubus
As I sat on the train with the countryside flying past, I checked my phone for the hundredth time. Tanith and I had planned to meet over a year ago, but lockdowns, family and a million other things had got in the way. We’d contented ourselves with text conversations and the occasional video call. Both had become steamier as time had gone on, and our inhibitions had lessened.
Lilith stood at the edge of the cliff, waves crashing against the rocks beneath her, wind teasing her scales, whipping across her bare breasts and rustling the skin of her wings. “It is beautiful,” she breathed.

The scythes had missed their hearts, and their thick coats had shielded them from the worst of the blows. As he smoothed their necks, he heard the others come into the parlour. He stood, turned and watched as the twins tended to Ciel’s injuries and Louisa comforted the still shocked Margaret. Malphas watched as Margaret’s gaze flitted around the room before settling on him.
The Return of the Order: Act 41
Louisa stepped over the fallen reaper dropping the sword as she moved to embrace the now shaking Margaret, “are you okay, Margaret, are you hurt?”
