Nearly 30 years ago the Sailor Senshi awoke with a simple mission, to protect love and justice from the evils of the universe. Not many franchises can boast the longevity Sailor Moon has seen. The franchise is not going away any time soon either, as they are producing new versions of the Sailor Senshi in the Sailor Moon Crystal series. But, for many fans the original series is still the cream of the Sailor crop.

A Filmmaker's Guide to: 5 Films by Tim Burton
Tim Burton is probably best known for his incredibly strange animation style, but even before his animated films Burton was a huge success having directed the 80s/90s Batman films before Nolan but not the first of their kind. Tim Burton's use of a regular cast during the 90s and the 2000s made it easier for audiences to identify what they wanted to see on the screen as he was constantly trying methods which really did appear on screen as oddities in the world of film. His attempts as shaping actors like Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were a massive success with both actors creating some of their best work under the guidance of Tim Burton.

I Wish that I Were Jesse’s Girl
Have mercy! What can I say, I definitely wish that I were Jesse’s girl. My OG celebrity crush is John Stamos. He is the whole reason I started watching Full House. I had to see Uncle Jesse. I think that he is the epitome of sexy. He is the cat’s meow and the pur. I don’t know how he ever got through airport security when he traveled because he is the bomb. In fact, when I was a junior in high school, the first day of English class, my teacher Mr. Vargo asked us to show or tell about someone important to us. Without hesitation, I was the first to pull out my flip phone ( I can’t believe I ever thought flip phones were cool); and, I professed to my peers my undying love for John Stamos.

'The Handmaid's Tale' Season 4 Update
The bad news about The Handmaid's Tale is that Season 4 will not return to television any time soon. The good news is that Hulu has given viewers some things to look forward to when the series finally returns to the air after such a long time between seasons.

The Green Phoenix
The clock ticked loudly to midnight. Every night it ticked off the uneventful minutes. No museum robbers with plans to make off with overpriced art ever had the courtesy to break in so Wil could spoil their plans. Anything to break up the monotony of patrolling. At least that’s what she thought until the museum director showed up. The curator was one thing. Liza usually liked to be there for big deliveries, and she was cool to Will. The museum director was a whole other thing. If that glory hound showed up it meant something “big” was coming in. Which would be exciting except he had an uncanny ability to suck all the fun out of anything, except for Liza. Nothing could dampen her, probably the only reason he hadn’t managed to drive her off. She kept rushing back and forth between the two biggest walls in the museum. Her heels clicking as she muttered about light and other technicalities of placement, sporadically saying “I can’t believe it.” Liza was usually enthusiastic about her art, but her eyes were doing a particularly happy dance tonight.

Indie Film Review: 'Entwined' - An Outstanding Mix of Fantasy And Horror
This review contains spoilers. Score is at the bottom. Entwined, a Greek horror/drama/fantasy film from first time writer/director Minos Nikolakakis, starring Prometheus Aleifer as Panos, a city doctor who relocates to a remote village after his father’s death. There, Panos sets eyes on Danae (Anastasia Rafaella Konidi, this being her second feature film), who lives in isolation with a mysterious skin condition. Determined to cure Danae, Panos soon discovers that Danae is not the helpless girl he had assumed her to be. Danae has some sort of magical power that keeps Panos trapped in the forest with her. Every time Panos tries to go home, he gets lost in the forest and ends up back in Danae’s cabin. Not knowing it was her doing, Panos stays with her and falls in love with Danae. However, strange things start occurring. Weeks after his stay, he becomes older, growing ten times faster than a normal human being. As it turns out, Danae sucks the life force of Panos every time they make love, to cure herself from her mysterious skin condition as well as to keep herself alive and looking young. Panos’ brother George (John De Holland) has been looking for him. Finally, after weeks without answers from Panos, George heads to the village as he finds Danae and falls in love with her. Conflict occurs between the brothers. In order to stop the fight, Danae, who turns out to be a tree creature, sacrifices herself for the brothers and turns into a tree.

A letter to Johnny Jughead
I was born in 1967, the year that Play School began and one year before it was aired in colour, not that this would have had any impact on me as both my parents and grandparents had black and white television sets. Each day, the presenters of Play School would change and my enjoyment of the show would change with them.

Kathleen Kennedy and Steven Spielberg Said That Only Harrison Ford Can Play Indiana Jones
With the ongoing pandemic, it is easy to forget the status of something like the next Indiana Jones film, which has been in development for about a dozen years, pretty much since the fourth film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. When this film came out in 2008, some fans did not feel very enthused with the sci-fi elements of that installment. There was a time when people thought that perhaps it would be a reboot, with Chris Pratt rumored to take on the role. With the lack of recent updates and the film generally being off of people’s radars, it may be worth looking at what we know so far.

It's Love, Actually
Let me set the scene for you. I was probably around age 6, spending the weekend with my Grandma in December. I stayed with her every other weekend and we’d always watch a film before bed. As it was nearly Christmas, my Grandma recommended that we watch a Christmas movie, even though it was I hadn’t heard of. She said it wasn’t animated, so I instantly felt grown up to be watching a film with real people in it. We started watching it, and I was enjoying it, and then BOOM. There he is. A small, ginger boy with a cute face who is called Sam. Hello, first celebrity crush.
