Muhammad NaveedPublished 3 years ago in FuturismFrom Healer to Heathen: The Ever-Changing Evolution of the Witch
‘Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.’ (Exodus 22:18). As children we were taught that witches were something to be feared. Fairy stories portray them as hook-nosed, green-skinned, wart-covered beasts, who preyed upon the hero to try and foil their plans. But witches were not always inherently evil. The evolution of the magical woman has been one that has blossomed out of control, starting with the very early portrayal of Goddesses and healers, and over time transforming into the pungent, evil beings we’re familiar with within modern literature. Why has such a change occurred? And is there any hope of witches reclaiming their former glory in a society that already has them so ingrained in the role of evil?

Chapter 1 There was once a place where all knowledge was contained, absolutely everything about everything was known. This place was called The Great Hall of All Knowledge, in this Hall there were many beings who shared all of the knowledge collectively, I was once one of these beings. We would continuously recite all that we knew so that we all had access to the knowledge and nothing would be forgotten. It was our only task, to remember and maintain, giving importance to the portion we were currently reciting. We knew about the mysteries of time, we knew about the significance of existence, we knew all that there was to be known and there was no more. There were no such thing as ideas, there was nothing new, there was no more. Even the concept of more was somehow forgotten as it had been such a long time that all was known none of the beings of the Hall remembered it. So it was when I had the Idea of More that my problems began. The Idea came to me that there could be more and as it was well known to us at the Hall of All Knowledge that thought, Ideas or knowledge were substance, the cause proved to be one of contamination. There could be no more, this was well known to all and I had somehow become contaminated with the idea of more.

Christopher HarveyPublished 3 years ago in FuturismWhy do we celebrate Christmas?
Christmas is a holiday that Christians around the world celebrate on December 25 to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas supposedly commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, and Christians view him as the Son of God. For those who are married, Christmas is celebrated on December 25 because Jesus was born in Bethlehem as the son of a married couple named Mary and Joseph.
