Psychic Spies

The CIA used the untapped power of the mind

By laraPublished 9 months ago 3 min read

Codenamed "Operation Star Gate," this secret operation is one of the most remarkably unconventional espionage programs in American history. David Morehouse played a crucial role in this initiative as no ordinary soldier but a psychic spy working for the CIA. The protocol is called remote viewing.

Morehouse excelled academically and joined the elite Rangers unit. In 1987, a stray bullet knocked him unconscious during a desert training exercise. This lead to a life-altering encounter with an angel/messenger, prompting him to choose a path of peace. Being born into a multi-generational army family who had conventional thoughts on psychics and the supernatural that is, they’re not legitimate, his new direction was a big departure from his upbringing.

It started inside a plain building, Morehouse and fellow psychic spies embarked on a mission transcending the physical world's boundaries. Their goal was to utilize the human mind's powers, pushing its limits to new heights. Remote viewing is a psychic skill that allows individuals to view locations and events from a distance using their consciousness. Remote viewing can be practiced by anyone through meditation and intention setting. The process involves entering a meditative state to access the alpha brainwave state. Accessing the alpha brain state as well as activating the pineal gland, which is said to be able to connect humans to parallel universes, is the first step in a remote viewing session. Then set an intention to view a specific place or event. Next you have to visualize to perceive images and details related to the chosen target. Remote viewing is based on the concept that reality is an energetic illusion, influenced by quantum physics principles: everything is energy and energy is everything. When you are viewing the target explore the environment. Record your experience by sketching as that can convey things easier than words. Once you've finished write notes, this is how intelligence was formed in Operation Star Gate.

Haunted by visions stemming from a near fatal training injury, Morehouse sought help from an army psychologist who handed him classified documents in a folder called "Grill Flame." The folder contained transcripts of remote viewing sessions within left him amazed and curious.

Morehouse learned the remote viewing process with a monitor and controlled his mind to access the alpha brainwave state. He describes what he sees with vivid detail which is recorded by the monitor to create intelligence.

One of the most dramatic and demanding missions came when Colonel Higgins was taken hostage in Beirut. Despite their efforts to locate him, Higgins was unfortunately killed by his captors. They just couldn’t get the location on that one.

Despite the rewarding aspects of his work Morehouse grew disillusioned with the program. He felt that it was starting to veer in a destructive direction that is, the remote viewers were being instructed to attempt to infiltrate the mind of their opponents. He then wrote a book, "Psychic Warrior” revealing the secrets of Operation Star Gate's methods to the world. Naturally he had resigned from the army and now teaches remote viewing.

In 1995, the CIA reluctantly admitted that Operation Star Gate had operated in secrecy for decades. The program lost congressional support and was discontinued.

David Morehouse and Operation Star Gate outline the untapped potential of the human mind. Important questions are raised about human perception's boundaries and hidden powers. Can we unleash these powers, unlocking the secrets of the past, present, and future? According to Morehouse, the potential is real with both awesome and dangerous implications.
