Radio Astronomy Driving New Competencies and Innovation
Radio astronomy involves studying celestial objects at radio frequencies. It’s a more favored approach to observational astronomy because the amplitude and phase of radio waves are relatively easier to measure than that of photons or light waves. Radio astronomy is conducted through radio telescopes using techniques like radio interferometry and aperture synthesis.

COLOSSUS
I There's no forgiveness in the deep. No shaking off the colossal doom of it’s infinity. I find myself scratching at the itch if I’m not careful. Out here, if you want your mind to keep intact, you have to learn a strict discipline of thought. My method is to imagine myself alone on the salt flats of an empty planet, naked and thoughtful. I kneel on the brittle ground and ask the gods The Three Questions: “what is life? What is love? What is fear?” I repeat this mantra like a child learning his alphabet. The Questions are not meant to be answered. They are only meant to be thought. This brings me closer to the Center of Things because it is in The Three Questions, with their quality of ambiguity, that one joins in lockstep with the forces at the heart of the Universe.

'Doctor Who': "It Takes You Away" Review
Warning: Potential spoilers for the episode ahead. Since its on-screen regeneration in 2005, Doctor Who in the 21st-century has had many things that separate it from its 20th-century incarnation. One of the biggest, introduced by Russell T Davies nearly 15 years ago, was wrapping the series' science fiction plots inside more substantial emotional stories. Even with him vacating the showrunner chair in 2010, it's something that the series hasn't quite shaken off, much to its credit at times. One such recent example came with the penultimate episode of Series 11.

Are Mermaids Real
Are mermaids real? Some people say no others say yes, this article will show some evidence that they might actually be out there. Our government has said they are not out there and not real, they have gone on record many times stating that mermaids are not real. But there are many videos of what seems to be mermaids; whether or not they are credible is not certain, but they are out there. There have been many sightings and other evidence as well, some people have recovered what seems to be spears stuck in the fish caught in the open ocean. Having no idea how they got there. Although this evidence exists, our government and N.O.A.A for whatever reason still denies that there may be mermaids out there. Though a lot of the evidence is inconclusive, such as the cell phone footage from the two boys who showed up on one of the whale beachings and found something that did not look like a whale but a body (is what the boys first stated) the government got involved they changed their stories. Other phone footage has come to the surface after the airing of Mermaids: The Body Found a show that was aired on Animal Planet back in 2013. Another show aired a few months after that which was called Mermaids: The New Evidence which was more of a talk show. This show did ask the hard questions and most of those questions were answered with video footage and scientific research such as DNA test done on a body recovered from the belly of a shark. The body, though only 30% of it, was some very important evidence. This and also sound recording of an unknown species of marine animal is what a N.O.A.A worker discovered. It was not long after this that the African government got involved confiscating the body and most of the evidence, the only thing that was given to the N.O.A.A worker, was the DNA test because it came back as human. After this the N.O.A.A worker left N.O.A.A and is pursuing a different job but is still working with marine animals. Like I said earlier in the article, new evidence has come to the surface. More videos have surfaced after the airing of Mermaids: The Body Found. One in particular depicts a small school of fish swimming past an oil rig one gets impaled by what seems to be a spear. Though the creature that grabs the fish is not fully seen because it swims past too fast to see, there are no marine animals that use spears to hunt and catch their food. Another video depicts what seems to be a mermaid or merman sunbathing on a rock while two men are looking down into the ocean to see it. One of the men records the encounter on their cell phone. This video has been on Youtube for 6 years and has been viewed 56 thousand times. The video filmed by the two boys has been on Youtube for 7 years and has been viewed 853 thousand times and the video of the fish being speared has been on Youtube for 6 years and has been viewed 1.7 million times. These videos depict the same creature it seems like but many people either do not see it or refuse to believe that they exist. These creatures if they do exist have become amazing at hiding and staying in the shadows, where they cannot be found and bothered. Now the real question that we should be asking ourselves is do we believe the evidence that has been brought to the light, and if not then what would it take to make us believe?

'Doctor Who': "The Witchfinders" Review
Warning: Potential spoilers for the episode ahead. The word "quintessential" is a fun one. Behind is the idea of something that is most representative of something. If, as a Doctor Who fan, I looked at Series 11 and was to pick the episode from it that represented the series, there's a strong possibility that I would pluck for its eighth episode, "The Witchfinders."
