I am going to make you wait! For my astrology sign, that is. I want to talk about myself and what type of person I am and have you take a guess! Then I will give out my birthday and astrology sign.
Samantha S.Published 3 years ago in FuturismI’m a Libra
I was born on October 1st so that makes me a Libra. I am not much into astrology so other than it somehow being connected to the scales and pink zirconia being my birthstone that’s really all I knew about it before doing my research. I do read my horoscope from time to time but not on a regular basis. My grandmother read both our horoscopes everyday when she was alive. But since she passed away I only read mine if I come across it by chance. One funny note is that I was always told that it is bad luck to read another persons horoscope. I would tell my grandmother not to read my horoscope but she ignored me, as usual, and she lived to be 101 years old and had fairly good luck! I’m not very superstitious; however, I only read my own horoscope just to be on the safe side.

PARALLEL UNIVERSE Dear diary, who have I become? Since returning from The University of Pavia, which is just south of Milan, Italy. I’ve become somewhat detached, giving the prospect of immortality a sense of credibility. Even though I once found the prospect, rather absurd!.

My older sister Amanda always loves to tell me stories, she’s good at it too. I love the way her eyes light up when it gets to her favourite part and the way I can see the pain in them when she gets to the worst. She never runs out of them, some of them she writes at night to tell me, but others are real. She will tell me stories about life before me to help fill in the blank spaces I have. She tells me about mom and dad and what life was like before they left. You see, there is a war, I don’t really understand it but it all started in the year 2021. My sister has told me this story many times but I always get lost, why would the government want to take children away from their parents and siblings away from one another? My sister still won’t tell me exactly how it started, she said it had to do with the poor uprising against the rich, but I don’t actually understand what those words really mean. All I know is that I’m lucky because my sister takes care of me which not a lot of people have. Government officials won’t let siblings be with each other and my sister says she has to bribe the officers to let her stay with me. I don’t know what she bribes them with, we have nothing.

It was almost here. I downed my final gulp of whiskey and tossed the bottle, which exploded on the sidewalk next to a middle-aged couple engaged in frantic lovemaking. Their writhing bodies, stark beneath an all-searing sky that bleached Los Angeles in tones of dazzling arctic white, were but one scene of thousands lifted straight from a Hieronymus Bosch canvas.

There Are Two Dark Influences That Need Confronting: Lillith, our demonic moon, and Chiron, our centaur planet My Grandmother studied astrology decades before we could get a quick read online. Her valuable advice has gotten me through the darkest years of my life. And the one thing I would ask of anyone is to take a deeper look at the darker sides of their natal charts.

“$100!” Dimitra exclaimed, as she rifled through her bag. Her husband smiled and waved away his wife’s absurdity. “It probably fell out of your purse…”

I am royalty on all sides! My parents named me ReGina which means Queen in Late Latin, and I was born under the Astrological Sign of Leo, the Lion, The King/Queen of the Jungle! So I have no choice to be Royal and Regal in everything that I do! I operate under my own power, never conforming to the norm.

The breeze was cool, the gray sky spoke of a calm day, though the exact day was uncertain; society had abandoned the Gregorian calendar the previous year. She rose from her bed; not a sound in the house. The wood paneled walls were musty, and quite old, but a well-kept old. Something that was built to last. The mud room didn’t have mud as much as layers of sand and dry seaweed, all swept into the corners. She had mapped out this location weeks ago. The residents had all abandoned these summer homes, staying in the cities where they could be with family. No one had bothered to lock their doors, and it was now a ghost town of luxury condos.

It was always the same. The guards would knock on doors until everyone gathered around screens that had been commissioned inside the main square.

I stepped outside of my apartment and looked at the bright and colorful sky. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming or seeing things. It wasn't just me. Everyone in my neighborhood was staring at the stunning and beautiful night sky. It was a little past midnight, yet the sky was nearly as bright as day, filled with streams of various light that seemed to simply flow across the night sky. It was both a beautiful and frightening scene...a scene that I never imagined I would see in Hawaii. "I can't believe this is actually happening," said one of my neighbors.
