1. Corn three cups chicken

The three-cup chicken recipe refers to a cup of lard, rice wine and soy sauce, without soup, and the chicken is stewed in a casserole until it is soft and cooked, so it is named three-cup chicken.

Three-cup chicken is a famous dish in Jiangxi Province. Later, it was brought to Taiwan. After innovation and improvement, nine-storey tower was added to enhance the aroma, so as to create the three-cup chicken with Taiwan characteristics. Some people think that Jiangxi three-cup chicken is the most authentic, while others think that Taiwan three-cup chicken is more distinctive. In fact, no matter what, as long as it meets your taste, it is the perfect three-cup chicken in your mind ~

My recipe for this three-cup chicken is homemade, with the addition of corn to make the whole dish refreshing and less cloying. Whether authentic or not, for me, the one that suits my taste is the best ~

Tips on how to match ingredients

Scallops and corn should not be eaten together: Marine mollusks such as scallops are very rich in zinc and should not be eaten with foods high in dietary fiber from corn products, as dietary fiber can reduce zinc absorption by 65% to 100%.

Pine nuts and corn can be eaten together to prevent and fight cancer

Easy to remember 1:1:1 cooking ratio

Three cups is 1 cup soy sauce +1 cup rice wine +1 cup oil

The actual dosage can also be fine-tuned to your liking

I use less oil each time

In addition, fresh basil is an indispensable and important spice

Ingredients: 6 chicken wings, fresh basil

Seasoning: ginger, garlic, dried red pepper, sesame oil 1 cup, soy sauce 1 cup, rice wine 1 cup

Taiwanese style three cups of chicken

1. Wash the chicken wings, remove hair and cut into pieces

2. In a frying pan, put 1/2 cup sesame oil, add ginger, garlic and dried red pepper until fragrant (I used a cup of about 200ML~ I love sesame oil! You can also use regular oil and finish with a spoonful or two of sesame oil)

3. Add the chicken wings and fry them (I didn't put enough oil in 1 cup because the wings are oily)

4. Fry the wings until they are lightly brown on both sides

5. Pour in one cup of rice wine and one cup of soy sauce, cover and simmer over low heat

6. Thicken the sauce and add a handful of fresh basil, cover and simmer for 5 minutes
