11 Things I Would Not Do To My Child
Disclaimer: This article was inspired by my (almost) four years of teaching young children in Korea and China. A lot of it is also inspired by my own experience being raised in an Indian culture household. These are the things I personally and subjectively don't find to be aspects of healthy parenting. If you went through this as a child and found it positively effective for you, and want to bring it to your own kids' upbringing. That's between you and your kids. Honestly, I feel like only time will tell if your parenting style worked or it didn't. There's truly no shoe size that fits all, when it come to parenting.
The Killer Who Looked As If Possessed By A Demon
Disclaimer: I tried my very best to provide you with a cohesive list of the sources I have used. The summary is an objective re-telling of facts, while the perception is my own subjective opinion of the case. So if you find this piece a bit repetitive, here's why.
11 Reasons Why I Would Divorce
Often times, you will hear people say "you don't know until you yourself are married or have a child." To that my answer is, yes but also no. I don't need to be married or have children to know these are what my boundaries are. Now of course things could change, my perspective may very well change. Having said that, just as these boundaries may very well not exist once I'm married, there might be new boundaries that come along after I am married. The point being, here are some of the reasons why I would divorce a person if I were married (as the person I am right now).
Was it your luck or was it your hard work?
Disclaimer: This is a subjective piece, take it as you will. So I have been working full-time for six years now. I started working full-time in a semi-permanent job at the age of 22 (almost 23). Anything prior to this were odd jobs here and there on a temporary basis. In this little more than half a decade of work experience, I have worked for five companies in total. As such, I have had the opportunity to meet many people from different walks of life.
Moving To South Korea?
Food We had some good times after midnight. You and I. You can’t walk into your local grocery store and get yourself a box of Kraft Mac n’ Cheese. Bad as it may be, it's still one of the og comfort food. Or Indian red chilli powder. And if you’re a vegetarian like myself and ethnically Indian, then good luck trying to find some spices and snacks you love. At least in smaller cities. So pack some non-perishable food for a rainy day.
Louis Vuitton Bicolor Monogram Empreinte Leather
Disclaimer: This is my subjective opinion. Disagreements and respect are not mutually exclusive. They can co-exist. ^^ Price: 690 USD (however I paid around 750 USD) Purchase Location: Louis Vuitton boutique, South Korea Dimensions: 6.1 x 4.1 x 1.6 inches Material: Cowhide leather, microfiber lining Chain: Not detachable Purpose: To use it as a wallet Limited Edition: I don't know. I am inclined to beleive it is not. It seems that LV might be replacing the canvas mini-pochettes with leather ones. And the brand has basically just released it's first test-runner.
'Top 10' Reincarnation Manhwa
Disclaimer: Isekai is not reincarnation. Similar, sure. But not one and the same. Reincarnation to me is same soul, same body or a different body that didn't belong to some other soul. On a different note, I have tried to avoid spoilers outside of the official summary. But no promises.
Brands That Just Don't Do It For Me
Disclaimer: I love Gucci, while some consider it the fast fashion of luxury. So let's agree to Gucci, alright. This is only meant to poke a bit of fun. It is not intended to hurt any sensibilities. All images used here are from shutterstock, unless otherwise mentioned. The pictures used here are to show each what comes to mind whenever I think of each brand.
The Dream Bags
This is essentially my wish list, I know I won't buy each and every one. But a girl can still look! I absolutely love window shopping. The prices are listed in US dollars. I didn't order this list in any particular order. But the first four are definitely the it bags for now. I definitely can see myself using this for the everyday. Would you? Or is too much?
