Hi everyone!

I shared with you healthy weight loss tips two months ago and now I'm back to share with you the top ten healthy foods you should be eating.

1. Broccoli - Now you're probably thinking ew, broccoli. But it's actually a really healthy food choice. Some kids don't like it, but it is good for you because it is filled with rich in nutrients including glucosinolates. If you want to serve them, they are best cooked raw or quickly steamed for five to ten minutes. Maybe add them to a side dish with some pasta.

2. Spinach or green leafy vegetables - These can be added to any dish, for example, a spinach pizza. If you want to have the best of both worlds, why not try it? Spinach is filled with lutein and zeaxanthin: I read in a study that these nutrients can help protect against macular relapse.

3. Butter - Most people love peanut butter, but there are others who are deadly allergic. But for those who aren't peanut butter is an excellent choice. It has protein, carbs and sugars and kids of all ages love it.

4. Mangos - Mangos are a great choice for healthy foods. Aside from their low-calorie content, they also have a high fibre content as well as vitamins a and c. There are also numerous health benefits that can be derived from them thanks to the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that they have in them. They are also popular due to the sweet side they have to them, which makes them a favourite for many.

5. Oatmeal - Oatmeal is a great choice in healthy food. You can add bananas and other fruits to your oatmeal. You can even make an oatmeal shake with other fruits in it. Oatmeal contains carbohydrates, as well as water-soluble fibre. They do tend to digest slowly to help stabilize levels of blood and glucose. Oats contain complex carbohydrates, as well as water-soluble fibre. These slow down digestion and help stabilize levels of blood glucose. Oatmeal even has a good source of folate and potassium.

6. Apples - Apples are a great source of antioxidants. It can be made into juice or even a smoothie. Also, they combat free radicals which are damaging substances a body generates, but they can also cause undescribed changes in the body like the aging process.

7. Eggs - Eggs are an excellent choice of protein. They can either be cooked or boiled, depending on your preference. A balanced diet can be achieved by eating eggs in the morning as they are nutritious and make you have a balanced diet. Eggs contain important vitamins, which are B-1 and B-12, both of which are essential for the production of red blood cells and the preservation of energy. There are mostly vitamins and minerals in the yolk, along with fats and cholesterol, which are essential to the health of the egg. They are highly versatile, and therefore can easily be incorporated into a balanced diet as they are very easy to consume.

8. Chicken - In terms of cost and health benefits, chicken is one of the most cost-effective and healthy meats you can eat. It is one of the best sources of protein that you can find. Whether you serve it with rice, pasta, or wraps, you will be able to enjoy it no matter what you choose to serve it with. It's also important to keep in mind when you're preparing and cooking this dish how healthy the chicken is. Also, limit the amount of deep-fried chicken that you consume, and always make sure to remove the skin from the chicken before eating. There is a high level of fat in chicken skin that you should watch out for if you plan on eating it.

9. Whole grains - There are many foods that contain whole grains, such as bread, rice or oatmeal. It is recommended that you eat two or three times a day at the very least. If you are looking for whole grain-like bread, choose brown bread, brown rice, or brown oatmeal as your choice. There is a good source of fibre if it contains five grams or more per serving, which is a great source.

10. Greek Yogurt - Greek yogurt contains greater amounts of protein and grams of carbohydrates than conventional yogurt, so it is a healthy choice. Besides having probiotics, it boosts the digestion of your food, thereby increasing your immune system.
