Pork Rinds Crumb Pasta

Southern corn style

By Seashell Harpspring Published about 18 hours ago 3 min read

Well well! If there is one thing a Southern Belle knows how to do, it is make what seems like hillbilly heehaw becomes razzle belledazzled into fancy my honey dears! Belles would love that fact that the keto diet made the grand come up of not just ole Billy sitting on his porch chewing tobacco eats on pork rinds, no! They are a sophisticated flavor, and even better when they can be added on top of some creamy corn pasta! The bread crumbs are on the menu, but the secret swap out of pork rinds sprinkles instead we will whisper to you my dear. A big bowl of pasta with cream corn. Be sure to add lots of butter of course! Dazzle with pepper and the pork rinds and you are good to go for the meal of the evening. We will side that with hush puppies and corn creme brulee to complete the corn trio of starch taste!

In our Belledazzled restaurant, we will have our Belle Band play on the stage using ole time instruments like the jug, jaw harp, and harmonica. Another way of making what everyone believes to be hokey honky tonk into a lovely and engaging music experience. 🎶 We have some lovely lace umbrella dancers to put on a show every weekend so do come one of those splendid hours!

Bring your ribbons and fans for this unique experience at the Belledazzled restaurant! Our dresses are big and charms high. If you play a unique instrument yourself, please come and show off your skills to us! All are welcome to show off at our joint of southern hospitality. We fry our tomatoes and brew our tea fresh here. We can add any flavor you love to the tea. Lemon, peach, even a pour of milk. Whatever your style, wear it and drink it my lovely.

One fruit we love around here is mandarin oranges. Isn't it so cute that they are so little and seem even more packed with flavor than the regular big ones! We also have fig tree growing all over making the best jam for biscuits. We enjoy them mixed with oats and honey; It is a great granola snack after a walk though the fields. Here we have our tough muscadine grapes. Our grapes are just as hard working as the farmers around here. They have extraordinarily thick skin making our wine extraordinarily unique! Sure beer is a classic for many in these parts, but that wine sure has a nice bold flavor to go with many of our meats.

What else do we have that is corn? I am glad you asked! We have our cornbread either plain, with cheese, or our new cinnamon flavor that is a new favorite amoung the locals. We have a great Brunswick stew with your choice of a meat base with plenty of corn and butter yet again. This one also has okra, tomatoes, and lima beans. Well ya'll it is a mystery every time anyways. The menu says Brunswick but we all know that means the cooks can play around with the ingredients and taste.

Another choice of dessert? Of course! We have the standard Belle era mahogany cake here. The frosting is between buttermilk and whipped cream. It is a type of texture like you never had before! There is also pink lemonade cookies and the classics like banana pudding and pecan pie. We even make bourbon maple flavored walnuts for those looking for an end of meal taste that isn't overly sweet. Yes, there is a lot of icings where we like to use sour cream and mayonnaise. Swear it makes the dessert so fluffy and delectable! Come and taste it, we will be happy to see ya!
