This article will show you how to make a homemade McDonald's egg McMuffin.

If you want to learn how to make a Homemade McDonald's egg McMuffin then keep reading. I don't eat meat much but when I do, I often crave egg McMuffins and other McDonald's food. I know it's not the healthiest food but it's ok once in a while.

At the moment, I am trying to save money by eating out less. I do this by recreating some of the most popular restaurant food recipes. I enjoy doing this because I get the taste without spending too much money.

I have been trying to recreate this recipe for a while, I finally managed to do it, and it tastes almost exactly like the McDonald's Egg McMuffin recipe.

First, go get the following ingredients: - 1 English Muffin - 2 eggs (preferably "egg-beaters") - 2 slices of cheese - 1 slice of ham (optimal) 1 Muffin, sliced in half

- Salt, pepper, and any other spices you want to add

It's a pretty simple recipe so I'm not going to write an entire article on it. I will just post the ingredients along with the cooking instructions. Ready? Let's get started...

Cooking instructions:

1. Toast the English muffin in a toaster or a microwave oven until it's lightly browned on the edges.

2. Cook the two eggs in a pan for a couple of minutes

3. Put the ham and cheese on top of one muffin half until it melts.

4. Place the eggs on top of melted cheese and then place everything together, to form your sandwich!

5. Add salt and pepper if you want.

There you have it! A homemade McDonald's egg McMuffin that tastes just like the real thing!

If you'd like, you can make a delicious McDonald's cappuccino to go with your homemade Egg McMuffin.

Here is the recipe for the McDonald's cappuccino :

Ingredients:

1 shot of espresso (about 4 oz)

1/2 cup cappuccino mix (use a good quality one, I prefer the Swiss-Miss brand)

4 tbsp. sugar or to taste - Heat up the water in a microwave oven for about 45 seconds. - Put all ingredients into a French press and press it down slowly (I use about half the water). - Let the mix sit for a few minutes, stir and enjoy!

Here is a bonus recipe for you, McDonald's's breakfast pancakes:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup flour (self-rising or all-purpose, either one will work)

1 tbsp. sugar (white or brown, both work fine) 1 egg

3/4 cup milk (low fat is ok) 1 tsp. vanilla extract - Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

- Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until all are combined.

- Put some cooking spray on the bottom of your pan and heat it up over medium heat (if you use low heat nothing will cook properly). - Pour some batter onto the pan and let it cook for about 2 minutes or until it starts to look dry. You can flip it over and let the other side cook for about a minute or so. - Enjoy your pancakes, topped with whipped cream and strawberries if you like!
