Denmark

Bofsandwich is prepared with a thick beef patty with pickles, onions, remoulade, ketchup or mustard. Once on the bun the burger is doused in brown gravy.

Belgium

Bicky Burger is made with a combination of pork, chicken, and horse meat shaped into a patty and deep-fried. The burger is placed on a sesame seed bun and topped with pickles, fried onions, ketchup, hot sauce, and a special dressing that consists of cucumbers, onions, cabbage, cauliflower, and mustard.

Turkey

Islak burgers are also called wet burgers. They’re a popular street food, particularly in Istanbul. A beef patty is placed in a soft bun, drenched with tomato sauce, and steamed. This makes for a moist, tender, and tasty burger. The tomato sauce is flavored with various spices giving it a tangy flavor.

China

Ron jia mo is a traditional Chinese burger and popular street food that originated in Shaanxi province. Braised pork belly is braised with onions, ginger, hot peppers, sugar, soy sauce, many spices, and Shaoxing wine. Once done it is place on a bun.

Japan

Rice Burger is made with rice patties that consist of plain rice, eggs, and cornstarch. The patties are pan-fried or grilled. They are topped with seafood tempura, teriyaki chicken, or grilled meat.

Australia

Australian Burger has an unusual ingredient namely beetroot. The burger consists of ground beef, bacon, egg, cheese, onions, and beetroot. Making for a delicious and towering burger.

Hamdog is an unusual burger created in Western Australia. A specially shaped bread bun includes a beef patty cut in half with a frankfurter placed between the two halves. It is topped with pickles, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and suces.

New Zealand

Kiwiburger is a New Zealand creation consisting of a beef patty on a toasted bun topped with fried egg, beetroot, grilled onions, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, mustard, and ketchup.

California

Chili Burger comes from Los Angeles. A beef patty is topped with chili con carne and served open-faced in some places. It is topped with cheese and onions.

Colorado

Slopper Burger comes from Pueblo, Colorado. It is a hamburger or cheeseburger on a grilled bun drenched in red or green chili. It can be topped with French fries, avocados, or onions.

Georgia

Luther Burger is an incredible burger where a cheeseburger with bacon sits on a sliced, sugar-glazed donut, usually a Krispy Kreme. It was named after the popular R&B singer Luther Vandross.

Minnesota

Minneapolis offers a burger known as the Juicy Lucy. Two ground beef patties have cheese between them, So when you bite into this burger the melted cheese squishes out.

New Mexico

Green chile cheeseburger is made with a beef patty topped with green chilies and melted American cheese.

New York

Ramen Burger comes from Brooklyn, New York. The beef patty is placed between two fried ramen noodle buns. It is drenched with shoyu sauce and topped with arugula and scallions.

Oklahoma

Onion burgers are made by squishing thin slices of onions into the ground beef. Then the patty is formed and cooked until the onions caramelize and become crispy and the meat is fully cooked. The burger is topped by American cheese, pickles, mustard or mayonnaise.

Pennsylvania

Fluff Screamer is an unusual burger created in Girardville, Pennsylvania. A beef patty is placed on a bun and topped with chili sauce, raw onions, marshmallow fluff, and a dab of butter, American cheese can be added.

South Carolina

Pimento cheeseburgers are traditional in the South. The pimento spread is made with grated cheddar, mayonnaise, and pimento peppers. The beef burger is spread with the pimento. Additional toppings include lettuce, fried onions, and tomatoes.

Tennessee

Deep-fried Burger comes from Memphis, Tennessee. Flattened beef patties are fried in beef tallow and topped with a slice of American cheese. Then placed on hamburger buns and topped with yellow mustard, sliced onions, and sliced dill pickles.

Texas

Beanburger is an iconic San Antonio dish. A beef patty on a bun is topped with diced onions, crushed Frito corn chips, refried beans, and Cheez Whiz, processed cheese sauce.

Utah

Pastrami burger is made with a beef patty on a toasted sesame seed bun. It is topped with pastrami, cheese, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, onions, and fry sauce. Fry sauce consists of ketchup, mayonnaise, sweet relish, and onion powder.

Cuba

Frita Cubana was invented in Havana, Cuba. Ground beef is mixed with seasonings, When done the patty is placed on a Cuban roll and topped with spice tomato sauce, red onions, and julienne potatoes.

Dominican Republic

Chimichurris burger consists of a beef patty mixed with oregano, garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes. It is served on a bun with mayonnaise, shredded cabbage, tomatoes, and onions.

X-Tudo is a tall Brazilian burger. The burger consists of beef patties, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, melted cheese, sausages, and fried potato sticks or shoestring potatoes.
