Eggy Bread Recipe :)
Simple and easy to make
This is a very simple recipe for breakfast. Quick and easy, yet filling – packed full of protein and goodness. Especially loved by growing kids. It is also great for packed breakfasts and lunches if you’re on the go in the morning rush.
Delicious served with jam, honey or yoghurt.
Ingredients:
- Brown bread of your choice
- Olive oil
- 2 eggs
- I tablespoon of Sugar / honey (optional)
How to make:
1) Crack the eggs into a bowl and add sugar or honey (just as tasty without). Whisk until blended well.
2) Dip the bread into the egg mixture making sure that the bread is well coated on both sides. Six small slices is normally the average that two eggs cover.
3) Pour one tablespoon of olive oil into a frying pan and put on medium heat, add slices of bread that fill the pan easily. Use a spatula for moving and turning the bread, cook lightly on each side until golden brown and slightly crispy. Now you’re done!
4) Enjoy your breakfast served with tea or juice.
