My life As a child giver
I am a care giver to a very special needs child, she is six years old. She has autism, adhd, odd, aniexty and a really bad sleeping disorder. I am a single mom. Thankfully I am a stay at home mom. I honestly don't know how parents do it when they must work. Autism children normally thrive on routine, but sleeping pattern kind of messes that up. How can you do I routine with a child that can't sleep? My daughter only sleeps for about four hours, sometimes not even that. The last few nights she doesn't go to bed til four or five in the morning and than I am back up at eight or nine in the morning. Can you imagine what this is like for everyone? Well let me shine some light on this for you.

Senor Snail's Flower Bed
"I just don't get it!" Pouted the little ladybug that had been sitting in Senor Snail's flower bed for some time now. "Essy, you know how in Miss Tizzies class," Senor Snail went on to explain to little Esmeralda, then he mumbled under his breath exasperated, "when there was class that is..."

You Are Here
I remember the day it changed. I changed. The day I officially snapped. The week before I was due with my third child, I had to return something at Best Buy and because of whatever market research theyāve done that tells them their customers need a flatbed/dolly for large appliances more than a regular basket that holds small items (or say, an additional child), I had to hold each of my then two toddlers by the hand with the box tucked under my arm. I stood in what was an unusually long line and my kids fought that day like two angry, wet cats. So while one was ripping items from nearby shelves and the other was catching the jelly-leg syndrome toddlers get when they donāt get their way, and I was struggling to hold them each by one hand with my huge pregnant belly, I remember thinking, āHow in the world will I ever be able to handle three?ā

How One Busy Mom Makes Time for Family Dinner. Top Story - March 2021. Created with: Plant Camp.
As a mom of four girls that range in age from seven years old to four weeks old I can certainly tell you how fast the time goes. I often wonder where the time has gone and how I could possibly be the mother of a seven year old already! Iām constantly questioning the decisions I am making as a parent - did I spend enough time with each of them today, did I use the right words to make them feel good, did I give their bodies the right amount of nutrients for energy and growth and the list goes on and on. Parenthood is a crazy ride and until about one year ago I was letting it fly by without realizing it.

5 Reasons I Wish People Would Stop Asking If I Am Having a 2nd Child
Parenting is hard and everyone knows it. I am a mum of 1 adorable little girl who despite being cheeky, extremely active and getting use to her emotions, I wouldnāt change her for the world. The one thing that annoys me, which started not long after she was born was the āso when are you having another one?ā I mean seriously, let me just focus on having our life tipped upside down with all our time and energy going on one helpless little human being, before we throw a second in to the mix.

My Dearest 2020 Baby
My Dearest 2020 Baby, I remember it well. I was sitting in a restaurant with your Dad, Oompa and Grammie, eagerly waiting to ring in the year 2020. It was New Yearās Eve and I was about three months pregnant with you. We had just announced you to the world a few weeks ago, and the new year held so much promise. We were so excited for what 2020 would bring to our family. It was going to bring you, my love, into our lives, and we couldnāt wait!

I Know What I Want
I Know What I Want By Robert W. F. Taylor Iāll always remember October 11. It was the day I saw the boy I am going to marry when I get older. Now you may think itās funny that I can be quite so definite about this but itās not such a problem. See, I am twelve years old already. Iām pretty advanced and mature for my age. At least thatās what my grandfather says ā and I believe him. Compared to other twelve-year-old girls, well letās just say they eat my dust.

Untitled in C Minor
When I was seven, and my younger brother was two, we lived on the ground floor of the apartment complex, where a formidable screen and glass door was our best defense against flying cockroaches, red fire ants, rat snakes, and worst of them all, fluffy yellow ducklings from the pond a few skips away from the edge of our porch that you desperately wanted to keep as pets, but that glass and screen door reminded you that they were wild, therefore not to be touched, and most definitely, not to step foot into the house.
