Where did you learn to write poetry? I read a lot of poetry. That's true. More often, I listened to rap. While I like most music, rap will always be one of my favorite genres. It has taught me more than rhythm and rhyme. It’s taught me about the world.

Rap can really speak 2 the heart! It's cool that it was able to inspire you to write poetry! :)
I can see how rap helped with poetry! I loved this!
I second Kendall's emotion. There is a lot of great & compelling poetry in rap & what it has to say about our world/society/nation is vitally important for us to hear.
Hear, hear!
Same! I listened to rap music and started writing poems from there. Glad to see a fellow hip hop head, here.
Interesting view on rap.
I like rap because it helps with rhyme too. Rhythm is from playing an instrument since I was 8. I try to not learn about the world... My brain is depressing enough. 😂
