Pretty Good, Pretty Bad, Pretty Woman
Vivian is standing in that poured-on long red dress, with upswept hair, twinkly eyes and enormous Julia Roberts smile. Edward approaches, spiffy in a tux with a black bow tie, twinkly eyes and smug Richard Gere smile. He extends his arms and opens a jewelry box. With her white glove-enswathed arms, she moves to reach the sparkling diamonds and rubies inside. He snaps the box shut; she laughs. You can hear it. Roy Orbison croons “Pretty woman, walking down the street....” Even if you’ve not seen it, you know about the movie “Pretty Woman.” Millions saw it in theaters, millions more have seen it in the past decades, it remains a fun and popular favorite.

The Dark Knight Is the Most Overrated Movie of the 21st Century
Let's be clear about what I'm not arguing. The Dark Knight is a good comic book movie. Christopher Nolan's ambition is real. Heath Ledger's performance is genuinely excellent. None of that is in dispute. What I'm disputing is the leap from "excellent superhero film" to "one of the greatest movies ever made," because that leap requires you to ignore plot holes, an abandoned character arc, and a moral centerpiece that falls apart the moment you look at it straight.

Psycho: 108 Minutes and 15 Seconds Too Long. Honorable Mention in The Most Overrated Challenge.
Good e-e-e-evening. Sorry, given the subject, I just had to start with that intro. We all know the works of the late, great Alfred Hitchcock, don't we? That "Master of Suspense" moniker? He didn't get that by accident. Vertigo, Rear Window, The Birds , you name it. Of course, we know about the TV shows as well. The half-hour Alfred Hitchcock Presents , which aired from 1955-1962. That was followed by the hour-long extension of the series, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour , from 1962-65. Hitch did it all, but his greatest claim to fame was Psycho .

It Could Have Been good…. Top Story - August 2026.
I was introduced to Dhar Mann videos rather reluctantly, via them showing up everywhere I scrolled. YouTube, Facebook... All I wanted to do was scroll through some videos while exercising, and bam! Every other clip was one of those infernal, badly-acted Morality videos that made it very easy to understand why Morality Plays were only ever popular when people didn't have a choice in their entertainment.
